I was 14. It was the mid 70s. A boy I barely liked asked me to dance. He had red hair and freckles and blue eyes, and I have a hard wired preference for brown eyes and hair. But hey, a slow dance is a slow dance.

My sister is a nun who lives around and works with prostitutes in Detroit. She’s a bigger feminist than you’ll ever be. Of course, she too is guilty of being an older woman, like me.
I think that fast food workers could easily be paid better without destroying the industry.
I don’t believe sex workers are immoral or bad people. I do believe that sex work is terrible for most women. And I sure as hell am a feminist.
I am an over-50 feminist. I remember when getting the world to understand that sex work and pornography was deeply harmful to women was a major goal for feminists. I still very, very strongly believe this. I also believe that sex workers should be treated with dignity and respect and not shamed. Of course, sex workers…
The best article you will ever read on this. You will never forget it.
It's been made clear that I'm not intelligent enough to continue with this discussion, so I've bowed out.
We can't all be as smart as you. I'll retire and let you do the thinking.
I'm for a minimum wage of $20 an hour. I don't care if no one can afford fast food. I care about a living wage.
No. As the research states, it's middle class people. Not teenagers. Ever driven past a fast food place? It's not trend behind the wheel. It's adults. Usually in very nice cars. It's not the poor. That's for sure.

Does always being told your income doesn't matter by lenders count?
Prom dress registries were common in the ‘70s. My mom always made sure we consulted them so our dressers would be one of a kind at the dance. But honestly, I went to four and was bored like mad after the first one. The only good part was having yet another Gunny Sack dress.
That's pretty much just Bloomington, right? I despise living in the hellhole that is Indiana. But, we stay for the money.
You have stated very well the benefits and negatives of being an only child. What you enjoyed is what our daughter enjoyed. What you fear is what she fears. We have solemnly pledged to save plenty of money for old age. Yes, she will have to make decisions for us, but that's all.
You know what's awesome? Being a woman in her 50s who doesn't care what the answers to those questions are. My age is my wonderful invisibility cloak.
That's just horrible. I'm sending you good internet vibes.
