So much of this. Non-religious people tend to think that people just pray and take no action, which is true to an extent, but prayer means nothing without action behind it. It’s similar to meditating imo. You think and hope for what you want but also plan out how you’re going to get these things done.

This is great and heartbreaking at the same time. For a Christian serious about his or her faith, prayer is a vital part of life. Keeping someone in your prayers means you are also actively engaged in their life and trying to bless them both spiritually and practically.
