your suggestion to mirror the screens is useless. mirroring keeps the maximum resolution of your laptop screen. assuming most people use a larger external monitor than their laptop, the resolution will not be full and you might as well be using your laptop screen!

all set up but its only for web access, not for desktop "app" so you should still password protect all your machines with access to dropbox

they didnt switch the power adapters of all macbooks yet to the new ones. apparently, they dont need to change all the cables at the same time. or again, they can just release an adapter.

I think it depends on how the date is going. There was an opportunity where I checked my phone towards the end of dinner on a recent date. It was perfectly acceptable and the date went very well.. (I've seen her a few times since).
