I don't see (even remotely) how you can compare RIM and HTC. RIM stopped innovating, was stubborn to admit problems and generally did not focus on the what consumers thought. It is clear to me that HTC is aware of the slide and is working to fix it.

This article was almost impossible to read. I had to re-read things just to understand the words being used by the author because the words were not spelled even remotely correct.

the way i see it, especially when buying non-upgradeable machines like an iphone or macbook air. say you get a 16gb iphone or a 128gb macbook air and run out of room, instead of spending that extra $100 (or whatever the upgrade costs), you will have to buy a whole new computer when push comes to shove and wont be able…
