What the hell is new in Rock Band that I would even need the sequel? Can't they just provide more tracks online? The new Guitar Hero at least has new stuff.

@Refused: The data exists in multiple places on the disc so it's still readable when it is scratched. DVDs and CDs have the data stored in multiple places too. The redundant data doesn't effect the maximum size because that is already factored in.

I think what he means is that it will be a significant product for Samsung for 5 years. After that it will be the no-name cheap manufactures who are now making $20 DVD players. Does Samsung even make stand alone DVD players anymore?

No original recordings are the best. The MC5 song better keep the original "Kick out the jams, motherf***ers" to start the song.

I know everyone complains about the PSP lacking a second analog nub but the DS could use at least one.

@gametaku: Same here. I loved the first one but there are a so many games out there. I would pick up the second and third on PS2 before I bought this.

I was interested when I assumed it was going to be a Wiiware game. Lost interest when I realized it would cost $50.

One of the worse trends in music is the gothic chorus soundtrack. I am looking at Metroid Prime and Halo. It all sounds like the Battlestar Galatica theme.

Western music is just generic movie music. Random orchestra swells timed with the drama. Japanese game music can sometimes sound like it is from another planet with overly complex layers of notes. I prefer the latter especially in JRPGs. The later Zelda music is under-rated.

This looks cool. I have been interested in newer Bomberman games but I wouldn't want to pay more than $10 for one. If this thing is $10 - $12 it is a buy.

@G_the_fresh: I am a Priest fan but Painkiller is not their finest work. On the Painkiller album, it sounded like they were trying to sound like all of the bands that were influenced by them in 1990. Anything off of British Steel would have been better.

This looks awesome. I will be getting it. Hopefully they fix the clipping. It is kinda scary that they show the bad clipping in developer released footage. That's kinda bleak. I will still get it regardless.
