No, she’s not. You guys need to take off these rose colored glasses.
I’ve tried using my own cup in some places. For example, a local movie theater used to sell “Movie cups” that you could refill at a discount. After a few months though, they stopped letting you bring in your own cups, even the ones they sold, citing “health” reasons. It’s funny to think about. But the stereotype of…
You’re doing good work and I’m sorry it isn’t represented in this article.
I support this anti-Wedge dissertation and am willing to subscribe to your anti-Wedge newsletter, if/when one becomes available, so long as you don’t give my email address to porn-spam people.
This is an excellent and slightly bananas comment.
I (Fury Duty of “It Happens in Derby”) was interviewed for this piece and I *definitely* brought up the fact that QZ is black and that it took a Black man to do something before folks started paying attention even though White men have been getting away with this stuff for—literally—years.
I disagree. The wedge salad is a very good salad but all salads are very good salads. Except the hideous Cobb. Sending thoughts and prayers.
Majority does not necessarily equal most powerful. Think apartheid.
I’d also be interested to see the numbers when you break schools down by community colleges, state schools and private universities. Are women more likely to be going to for-profit schools, which are considered lesser than private universities.
Can’t imagine you’ll allow this to get posted, but...
Um. It’s spelled Melanie.
But enrollment in college isn’t the end goal - employment and advancement are. So, when women are out there earning the same as men, running half the corporate boardrooms, making up half of congress et cetera *then* you can say that there is no point for universities to try to cultivate advantages for women.
So most of these things had nothing to do with the Royal Wedding but is just the usual overpriced tourist tat you find in London...
Unless they want fries with that.
more like cucksat amirite
I wasn’t aware you could damage the earnings potential of someone getting a PHD in English. Pretty sure they damaged their own.
The visibility of such accusations of bias has added fuel to a growing and increasingly mainstream men’s rights movement, the central conceit of which is that feminism’s victories have overcorrected, making America a dangerous place for the straight, white, and male.
