This is a critique of the film, not Matt complaining that it hurt his feelings.

Say you have a white man with an IQ of 160 and a black woman with an IQ of 160. Do you think they have the same chance of becoming wealthy? If not, why not?

Did you know that Hitler's drive for sterilising disabled people was inspired by the American eugenics movement?

I think you might be me. Reading through your comments is like reading through my comments. You're referring to established facts rather than assuming that more intelligent parent=more intelligent children.

I have found very few studies that say that genes coding for lower intelligence are becoming more common. The one that I found predicted that, in 3000 years time, the majority of people will have the lower intelligence allele when it comes to TWO specific genes. We have 2000-5000 genes that code for intelligence.

YES! I would insert a round of applause gif here if I could.

"Ugh, ooookkaaay, women can't get abortions here...but they can totally go to Alabama or something if they want!!!!"

...until the life of the mother is at risk, in which case they might just choose to save the foetus instead. See Savita Halappanavar, Sheila Hodgers and Michelle Harte in Ireland. I'm sure there are some US examples too.

...and Leonard Cohen and Joni Mitchell.

Because of quantum!

Yes, but correlation doesn't imply causation. We don't know that a biological difference has led to the behavioural difference, I would hypothesise that it's the other way around.

Nope, not diseased! I'm exactly the same. I made a post later about visible veins on my entire body, and my chest looking like a blue subway map. I don't care about it much - I'd like to not have such dark circles under my eyes, but that's mostly it. I sometimes get a bit self conscious of my legs, as they have that

I got tan lines from 20 minutes of sun exposure last July, and they're still there a year later. Still though, I got badly sunburned when I was five and the lines took 20 years to fade completely, so one year isn't too bad!

None of those women have translucent skin though! They're pale, with a thick layer of pale makeup over their skin. I'm not saying they shouldn't wear makeup, but the total lack of visible veins at wrists and inner elbows (at the very least) shows this isn't a true representation of pale skin.

I'm much paler than her and people ask me if I'm sick all the time. I'm pale enough that I have permanent dark circles under my eyes, blood naturally pools in the eye sockets but you can see it more clearly with translucent skin. You can see many of the veins on my face, all the ones on my neck, and my chest looks

That's true, but the brain is highly plastic and your thoughts and behaviours change your brain structure and function. For example, if you spend six months juggling every day, a particular part of the sensorimotor cortex will thicken. Brain differences=/=innate or immutable differences.

Is this gif from Love/Hate? It's hypnotic.

Thank you :) I'm feeling fine 90pc of the time, maybe that's all anyone can hope for! I have those waffle maker moments as well, and I try to think that the item was a small price to pay for my freedom.

I tried to convince myself that I didn't need it

We are breakup twins, I waver between those two forms of anger too. I try to be self-compassionate and remember that there's nothing wrong with being positive, and I've learned a lot from the experience. It won't happen to me again. Plus there were good times too. You'll be okay, you'll land, it's just hard to see
