I love Sanderson as well, but he doesn’t handle adult situations well. Most of his stuff is borderline YA, and while they do deal with weighty issues (Kaladin’s awful life for instance), they don’t really engage with them on a meaningful level. They more or less just float around in the background.

The dev’s are fairly active on the Anthem sub, and they seem to be at least vaguely aware of Destiny’s issues, at least Destiny 2's issues.

I personally called their bluff recently cause they felt a few phone calls and a non-certified letter from an attorney would be enough to intimidate me into paying for something that didn’t happen. You didn’t need to be 290+ or have raid weapons. My group was all low 280’s with myself at 277. It took more than a few tries, but once we worked out that it’s 8 sets of Blights, we cleared adds, rotated supers, and finished the encounter with more than 2 minutes left on the clock.
