This one’s easy. If you want to stay true to the character and the lore, Geralt “romances” plenty of women, but he only ever truly loves one woman, and it’s Yennefer. Triss had been desperately thirsty for Geralt for years and in The Witcher 2, she took advantage of the situation (Geralt having amnesia) to bump uglies

Just curious, but does this image offend you?

Yeah.  You can excuse the 95 to 98 to 2000 though because they were at least named for the years released, but after that, they threw numbering correctly out the window.

That’s one thing Sony has always had over Microsoft. They know how to count. MS on the other hand... 1, 360, 1???? Then there’s Windows. They just skipped a whole number and went from Windows 8 to Windows 10. Where’s Windows 9?!

Some people DO treat backwards compatibility like a bigger deal than it is, but there is a legitimate need for the feature. A lot of people enjoy playing their favorite games of yesteryear, and that’s becoming harder and harder to do. I absolutely love the Suikoden series, and Suikoden V is one of my favorites.

I have no problem with the controller design. I’ve never understood the preference to Microsoft’s asymmetrical stick layout.  It’s ugly and makes me want to hold the controller crooked.

I’m fine with waiting on all of them.  I’ve got too many games in my backlog as it is already.  More than enough to keep me busy for the next year.

Same here. I’ve only played the new content for about an hour and a half so far, and a half hour of that was spent clearing a lost sector on the moon with a recommended power about 100 power level above me. Was it worth the one blue item I got from the cache at the end? No, but I wandered into that lost sector and

It’s sad that rather than tackling the root of the problem, i.e. mental illness and easy access to guns, we’re normalizing gun violence and re-designing the world around it in order to accommodate it.

How exactly was it “rebooted” with time travel?

This is being sold as a complete game too with a self-contained story. The following story after Midgar will be treated as a sequel.

I haven’t played Xenosaga or .hack.  Where the individual releases considered “whole” games despite being parts of bigger stories?  Did people complain about the way the games were structured in that fashion.  I genuinely would like to know.  The only comparison I know of to what’s happening with the FFVII Remake is

A small handful of poorly informed people that live under a rock proves nothing. Square is not hiding the fact that the game is broken up. It’s been common knowledge for a long time. They mentioned it at E3. Anyone that didn’t know it’s going to be a multi-part series have themselves to blame for not knowing the

And this isn’t being released episodically either.  It’s a full 2 bluray disks worth of content.  That’s not an episode, it’s a full game on its own.

LOL, yeah. I’m not saying FFXIII was a good game or collection of games by any stretch, only that the its overarching narrative over the course of multiple games is most likely the template SE is using to tell the full FFVII story.

I’m sorry, but those people are idiots.  Like I’ve said, this has been common knowledge for a long time.  If they buy the game expecting the FULL FFVII narrative, they did a poor job of being an informed consumer.

That’s assuming progress like level, stats and items carry over from game to game. The solution is that they don’t. As SE has said, each installment will be its own self-contained game. Chances are nothing will carry over from one to the next. That’s normal. When I finished Suikoden with Viktor at level 65 and even

The way of looking at it that has helped me cope with the way it’s being broken into multiple releases is FFXIII. The first FFXIII was it’s own stand alone game, but we eventually got XIII-2 and then Lightning Returns. The whole trilogy tells one story that’s broken into 3 self-contained games. FFVII will be the same.

Wait what?  You’re just now learning that this release is only a part of the whole original story?  If that’s so, then I doubt you’ve been on the “hype bandwagon” because this has been common knowledge for a looooong time.
