As a demon spawn weasel snake...

So you’re telling us Utlravox’s Vienna is the show’s theme song? I’m holding you to that. (Otherwise it will be Falco).

I’d say Arkin and Duvall are the improbable actors here. Olivier as Moriarity works, especially in Larry’s late I’ll-do-anything phase.

If it gets the kids reading Freud...

You said what I wanted to say but couldn’t write (tried twice, deleted both).

Did you just say that trans people should “make a movie using their own voices”? In other words, stop whining and do something yourself? Am I getting that correct?

You’re thinking Belgians. Belgians dip their frites in mayonnaise.

Now playing

You’re 36 and the internet (i.e. the web) was a thing when you were in highschool? Sorry, kid. You’re not Gen X. To be Gen X, you had to have had a 1970s childhood. There’s no way around that. Internet in highschool? You know what computer class was when I was in highschool?

I think you’re more interested in scoring points than actually reading:

I forgot about that. Not exactly avant-garde obscurity.

I think you only read what you wanted to read. The article states that FDA regulations require fish to be frozen. However, only 50-60% of sushi in the US is frozen, i.e. 40-50% is served fresh. In other words, high end places in Hawaii and California are going to go against regulations for fresh fish. In Nebraska?

50 to 60 percent of sushi in the United States is frozen at some point in its journey from the ocean...”. “In Japan, 50 percent of the sushi and sashimi is frozen.”

That’s not true, at all.

It’s the all-you-can-eat aspect.

Random man? It’s kind of his thing and he’s kind of famous for it (as far as you can be famous for being a past member of Howard Stern’s crew).

In the show Silicon Valley, there’s a good bit about Kumail Nanjiani’s character relating the difficulty he had as an educated software engineer from Pakistan getting a visa (it took him five years to get US citizenship and was asked about Al-Qaeda “like 14 times.”) His co-worker, a white Canadian, is in the US

White people call other white people gentrifiers, but never themselves.

I was totally confused — I thought this was the other article. The comments were sounding insane, in that context. Rewind, read this article, move along.

I think uppity is often implied using yet more coded words (some of them listed above). Conservatives basically called Obama uppity for 8 years without actually saying the word.

You mean an abusive scumbag who lived off his children’s earnings has reportedly been hospitalized with stage four pancreatic cancer.
