Tesla is profitable? Good news to hear.

Cue Elon Musk riding a SpaceX rocket ship into battle, similar to Daenerys on her dragon:

You imply that my comment was serious at heart. It was not.

I thought “facetious” meant “funny”

It’s just a common stereotype even touted on Audi forums. It’s the same thing people say (or said) about Porsche Boxsters.

My only gripe with the Audi Q8: fake exhausts.

Hypothetically let’s say the owner got this new for around $40,000. Then they took an $18,000 depreciation hit for just driving 6,300 miles.

Change “law school” to “hair dressing school” for your statement to make full sense.

Knowing what I know about my Audi, this cluster will likely be an electrical nightmare in about 5 years.

The only one I saw, I was near center city Philadelphia and a couple, around the age of 50-60, had the top down on their TT.

As long as the leather seats are sourced from Ikea

I think Tesla should be legally required to change the name of the feature,...

Yeah, I don’t like the looks for the 992. But some people will buy the latest thing simply because it’s the latest. I’ve even seen a listing for a used 911 that went something along the lines of,

Yeah, Lincoln is cleaning up their act. They even just sold out 80 of those special edition $110,000 continentals. And the newer Lincoln SUVs look good.

1. Maybe if Porsche didn’t gut the 718 and its engine - it would have sold better.

Europe is certainly a good market for the Model 3. But we have to wait and see how popular it becomes.

Whaaa? I’ve seen a good amount of EVs in France. Mainly the Zoe and a few Teslas, but I think they’ll become more popular especially with the cost of diesel / petrol.

This is inevitable

Elon’s been a bit better behaved recently... kinda

That’s why I like Tesla: an American company out foxed the Germans at their own game. And not only that... tons of people in Europe bought them. Sure Porsche and Audi vow they’ll come into the arena. Sure, Tesla’s quality can be improved. But the cool factor is there. And yes, people do consider the brand as premium
