“Go outside and walk around”.

That seems fitting.. but

Wesley Willis whooped both of their asses.

>>>”I am sure the writers need you to tell them how to do their jobs. You are clearly more qualified than professional writers on one of the biggest shows of all time.”

I think it’s arguable that Dany’s rape doesn’t serve a narrative purpose. Imagine a show where, for instance, we never see the scene of her rape on the beach. Does that show lose something? One could argue that it sets the stage for her later taking the reins to make her relationship more equal by taking control of

Seems they’re trying to keep it running, but are using different torrents. The fear being that, because of the way they took the site over, those torrents will be super dangerous/fishy.

I respect this point of view, and all of the points of view being expressed about this scene. But I’m not really certain what could have been done otherwise. We’re arguing as if Sansa not being raped were a believable option. It’s very, very sad to say, but I think that’s not true. The idea that she would escape

If you didn’t know until last night that Ramsey was going to torture Sansa from the moment he married her, you haven’t been watching the show.

A key to that scene, which they showed repeatedly, was the dye being washed from her hair, that perhaps this “new” Sansa is a bit of a facade. If characters in this show are anything, they are consistant.

Totally agree. The contrast of both scenes was as important as it was heartbreaking. Also, have people already forgotten the horrors we saw Joffrey commit? Every one of those had a purpose: to make his death that much more satisfying. I have a feeling the same applies to Ramsay, although as I stated above, I think the

Then why did they have the bath scene with Sansa, when she looks like she’s finally learning to hold her own? If this scene didn’t contribute to furthering character development, then neither did that scene. (They both did, though.)

This This This! We need to stop seeing the show as an outsider and expect an advance in the plot with every scene and understand that sometimes we need to convey information to other characters so that the plot can be advanced at a later time without leaving plot holes like “Holy shit how did Sansa Stark know Bolton

but it told sansa something she didn't know. Yes we knew all the crazy stuff he has done but all the knew was that he was a dick at dinner.

How do you figure that you’re qualified to say it adds nothing to the narrative when the narrative is unfinished and you, presumably, do not have any inside information as to what direction it's going? Without knowing what the narrative is, how can you say what does and does not serve it?

Todd McFarlane is just doing as Captain Planet asked and recycles.

His art hasn't progressed in 20 years because it doesn't need to. It's perfect as is.

She's got a bad cold, and Batman is giving her his bat-hankey. The shake wiggles around her head are her blowing real hard.

Nevertheless, there's little dispute that Batman's first iconic costume design—purple gloves and all—came from Bob Kane.
