I'm not sure Batman has ever actually beaten Superman as much as we might think, i mean even in Dark Knight Returns he doesn't actually BEAT him, he just hits him, really hard, then throws in the towel by faking his death.

It all depends on the writers. Look at Wonder Woman in the Justice League animated series, she was damn near his physical match. Also, Superman is weak to magic, aren't god powers magical in nature?

Destiny was such a disappointment to me. It still irks me how much money they put into that game and what we got as a result.
