Mackenzie is a good actor, and Gordon should be an interesting character, but Gotham seems to think that "honest cop" means "stoic and bland who simply calls out crime as bad." Where's a personality? Give us the stern but clever Gordon from B:TAS or Oldman's take.

Agreed. I hated her in episode one. All that skulking about like some kind of alley "cat" was annoying for its blatant obviousness. However, I did a full 180 when she had her final scene with Gordon in episode two. I guess some characters just take time.
