Some people refuse to believe they are anything but the most correct people, factually and morally. Any action taken by anyone else (even if it has nothing to do with them) that suggests there is any “correct” way to live besides their own is taken as a direct assault on their values and judgement.

I understand that’s the reason people react with such vitriol to veganism but is it actually a thing? I understand stereotypes can exist for a reason but I must say I run in to far more “angry meat eater” types than I do “sanctimonious vegan”.

I’m not vegan, nor even vegetarian (but I DO try and limit meat consumption), but I have to say, it’s amazing how people love to lash out at vegans rather than take 2 seconds of self-reflection and realize that maybe the way we consume meat in the US is bad both for us and for the world.

If he did it as a joke “for her husband” then clearly he was thinking about her vagina in the context of sex.

Ya’ll are wondering, so:

“It was a joke for (my husband).”

It’s not sexual assault if he wasn’t aroused while committing the act? What?

This would be disgusting under any circumstance, but it’s especially repulsive that he did it to a cancer survivor who was actively fearful for her health.

The Kirkland booze is surprisingly good.

I don’t know if it’s like this everywhere, but Costco’s gas is usually a good 25-30 cents cheaper per gallon than pretty much anywhere else around me. That membership pays for itself just in gas savings for us. And the Kirkland branded stuff is usually pretty inexpensive and still quality.

I have to disagree about reuniting the trio. I love the three of them together as much as anyone, but I would’ve hated for them to rush into it. I feel like fracturing them was such a momentous thing to do in second season, and letting it carry across Defenders and most of this season just really further explored that

I don’t think Fisk envision the exact scenario Ray wound up in, he just knew that he wanted to compromise as many agents as possible. Money stress, as Ray’s boss points out, makes agents vulnerable. Thanks to our great* American health care system, a family health crisis is an easy way to make that happen. So he knew

Oh, I have to disagree with the Dex and Julie material in this episode. Seeing him go back to her and earnestly try to engage with her in a way that appeared so open and honest, emphasized how sad and pathetic he is. For me, it put a final pin in his character: that he’s easily manipulated, but not always with

Am I the only one who felt young Maggie was way too young for Jack Murdoch? She looked like a teenager while he could easily pass for thirty.

For awhile, I thought Karen’s brother was going to die when she set fire to the diner for the insurance money. That would have probably made more sense, but it would also be more horrifying.

Yeah, he’s actually British. To me that’s kind of the best part. He’s this weird freak of nature whose American accent is somehow more attractive than his British one.

He’s from a region called “England,” haha.

Foggy wasn’t running to win; he wanted to force Tower to publicly condemn Fisk.

This season is a real inditement of the American healthcare system. No one’s willing to go to the hospital and the source of people’s corruption is bills for chemotherapy. Even Ellison tells everyone “not to get sick.”

That’s funny. I did totally think that Todd was her brother, for a second. I was like, damn, Karen wasn’t fucking around, her backstory is dark.
