Not his fault or hers. The writers could do much more with them both.
They are a bit boring but they don't have much to do with the overall story…yet.

They have found what people seem to like in each character and redo it each week.
Que foreign Woman referring to something wacky in her homeland or some loud as speech with that overbearing accent.

Happy Ending has a great cast and funny writing yet gets no love from the Golden globes???

How about a Manny getting diabetes plotline.
That kid better lose some weight or he will be dead in 10 years.

If Lily had gotten a hold of a gun and shot up the Wedding, it would have been fine.

They are making Sofia Vergara's character more unbearable to watch each week. That accent is grating as it was on the Golden Globes.
And how many commercials does she have on now? 4 or 5?
Over-saturation of foreign accent isn't funny anymore.

The plots and characters are much more dumbed down this year.

But it isn't that good anymore.

I think this season has been really weak. The humor just isn't up to the level it was the first season.
Really getting tired of Sophia yelling her lungs out as the English challenged. It was funny at first but now she just seems dumb.

They need more Dino's to get more people to watch.
Or, cast members from Wipeout.
