One of my favorites is The Sure Thing too. I remember loving the movie when it came out and then spending $80.00 to buy it on VHS.

I don't think the ratings are down because of Top 40 songs. I think a lot of it because people just got burnt out on The Glee phenomena.  This is a show with a limited shelf life and it got shorter with a so-so season 2. I think that is why people bailed.

Farscape  was about Anti-Heroes and that managed to make it exciting every week. Good characters and impressive special effects.

It has it's ups and downs but is nowhere near as bad as Terra Nova, V, Fast Forward and No Ordinary Family.

Could it be the tone of these shows that isn't working?
