"Damien Echols is in a unique position to comment on Netflix’s controversial documentary Making A Murderer, having also spent 18 years in prison for a crime he didn't commit may or may not have committed."

I did ignore your question about me, because I'm not the topic at hand. I will say that I watch a lot of media, and I try to think critically about it.

"Judging by your continued posting of information that is clearly in the doc (e.g."The jury was shown a photograph that showed a deep cut approximately two centimeters long on Avery’s finger")…I'm still having doubts that you've actually watched this documentary."

" 3) Not sure of your point here…"

That's why the information was introduced with the qualifier "FWIW" (for what it's worth). Some may judge the testimony as worthless; some may feel it has merit. I'd like to at least know about any/all testimony that I can, and hope that we can get access to trial transcripts, at some point.

On the one hand, there's the coincidence of Avery having an injured right finger at the time of the crimes… as well as the blood pattern analyst's conclusions, for what they are worth to the reader.

All fair questions and concerns.

Speaking more generally to the possibility of Avery guilt:

I agree that the juxtaposition of a cleaned-up garage with the otherwise sloppy leavings of charred bones, the RAV4, and the blood evidence therein, is problematic and on its face, pretty strange. (In part, it might arguably be accounted for by police planting of certain evidence.)

At the time, I didn't remember the docu-series coverage of the garage floor. (It was a 10-part documentary, I might be forgiven. I have since revisited it.) As to the timeline, I was raising my issues, and attempting to proceed clearly and carefully with my understanding of the timeline. Jeez Maries.

The notion that the garage floor may have been cleaned with bleach and/or other fluids by Avery/Dassey on Oct 31, 2005, is arguably supported or at least forwarded by the following accounts.

OK I see now the original comment cited multiple trips regarding the towel. My mistake.

Are you talking to me? I did watch the docu-series and am actually in process of watching it a second time.

How many previous trips Halbach made to the Avery lot had been unclear to me — however your own source implies it was multiple trips, when it cites that "Halbach had gone to the Avery property six times from June 2005 to Halloween to take pictures of cars, a trailer and a sports utility vehicle."

Re: the Garage Floor excavation and analysis, timeline

It's fair to point up some clarifying details, as well as to offer possible innocent explanations for things that might otherwise be interpreted as cause for concern.

Agreed that, by remaining vague about what exact evidence he's suggesting wasn't presented in the docu-series, Kratz is putting a complaint on record without really putting himself out there; he allows himself some really broad wiggle room.

As to the sources cited: my suggestion is not that they are ironclad, but that they are the best that can be mustered without more access to actual case files. The reader can consider the sources and take them as he/she will.
