Except the shields failed. The shields won't hold up to a ship crashing into them. The shields as shown are pretty much magic. And I'm not familiar with a weapon that has a warp drive strapped to them, but the show clearly makes it known that any warp core breach close to shields will negate them completely.

There’s been no consistency since the ANH came out. You could nitpick almost every battle to the point of ridiculousness if you wanted.

This is not just a Star Wars problem, but a problem with almost any movie/show with a space-capable fighting force.

Maybe they could figure out how about ship in Star Wars flies like it's in an atmosphere in space.

The better question is why you'd bring an AT-AT to Hoth? They're cumbersome, slow, and giant targets. The galaxy is thousands of years more advanced than us, but their land invasion vehicles couldn't outmaneuver even the most basic tank post-WWI.

I love when people compare a historical movie to fiction. They could've made a Star Wars movie about literally anything in the several thousand year history of the Republic, but chose the one where we all know the ending. And everyone just agrees like it's cool because you knew the Titanic sunk.

I don’t know how you can run a discount auditing service when the whole point of being audited (and Scientology in general) is to take as much money from you as they can.

Not always.

Dammit. Now I need to go get audited again.

Looks like Xenu was really onto something when he used those spaceships shaped like DC-10s to bring everyone to Earth.

You’re comparing human beings to records. So naturally your argument suits your beliefs. Because you want to prove a break in continuity to something physical, but you ignore the fact that they aren’t comparable at all because you thought it sounded cool. Your example makes no sense past any inspection.

It might not have been about a Skywalker, but it still had the dumb concept of a family line being the sole qualification for being a leader.

“Don’t cherry pick...”

“lacking strong features or characteristics, and therefore uninteresting.”

Oh. Not negative. Proves my theory. Thanks, friend.

I’m starting a group on Facebook everyone can join to protest this.

What theory?

There’s not one moment in the whole movie where any hero succeeds without the help of bad writing (let’s only blow up the city and not the planet to stop the rebellion, because that’ll take 10 minutes and not 10 seconds) or incompetent bad guys (Darth Vader is cool force throwing people, but not force-grabbing the

I didn’t say it was bad or that I wouldn’t give it a positive review.

Good for the copy. Doesn’t change the fact that if there’s no interruption, there would still be no break in consciousness.
