I’m not a fan of her albums, but I heard her interviewed on Howard Stern a couple times, where she also played a few of her songs on piano. And I have to say, based solely on the beauty of her voice, I’d buy any album she puts out if it’s just her and her piano. Simply lovely.

Fuck the Crow haters.

No, you’re just supporting a child-abuser. All Cutler does is try his best to hold together a team with no defense. If only our star player just beat 4-year old children with sticks! But at least your star quarterback is... someone. Eventually.

I’m pitching against the Cubs, so it’s pretty much Little League anyways.

I’m going to pitch later this month. I’m going to give up a home run to every batter I face until they just call the game after the score runs up to 47-0. (All the relief pitcher’s suddenly died after the second HR, by the way). You’ll never see another outing like it. It’ll literally be the rarest outing for a

Shutout refers to the score. He threw a one-hit scoreless outing.

Do you honestly think that was the only perfect game in history? You keep using it as the benchmark for a perfect game. Maybe compare it to, say, every perfect game.

Walks are now better than no walks! Especially in this one very specific example you keep bringing up.

Name one perfect game where the pitcher gave up a walk.

Okay.

Where did I ever mention anyone almost giving up home runs? YOU’RE comparing this outing to one very specific game.

Take out the fielders, take out the hit (that is also the pitcher’s fault), take out the fact that fielder’s help with every pitcher’s outing (unless that pitcher strikes out 27 in a row), he still gave up a walk. That’s a fact. And that’s still putting a man on base solely through the pitcher’s actions.

The “Game Score” can easily be alerted to include “Add 25 points for never allowing a man on base” to give every perfect game a higher “Game Score.” Actually pitching a game to never allow a man on base is much more impressive than allowing two men to reach base.

A walk and a hit are much more common than no one reaching base. And you’re missing the fact that the pitchers can also place pitches that, if struck, are designed to be played to a defensive out.

Little known fact: that’s also his “O” face.

It’s only “literally” better than perfect using a completely made-up spring system. Using actual statistics, it’s not better than a perfect game. Not that it’s unimpressive, but 9 innings with no one reaching a base is much more impressive than 9 innings with 2 men reaching base.

Luckily, no beers were consumed in the making of this segment.

There’s some sort of pride in being a White Sox fan with OCD. The field is wonderfully symmetrical.

98% of all tweets about Obama. Unless you think this tweet is worse than massive amounts of ignorance and racism.

But there’s a fine line there. You can have the Jags playing the Bucs and reach a 6-3 score and it’s just awful. But when you see two stacked defensive teams fight to a 6-3 decision, that’s the best football there is. You’re just watching two teams beat the shit out of each other. But that rarely happens anymore
