Too bad you didn’t get a chance to drive a BYD Tang. I’ve done 0-60 in 4.9 seconds in one. It’s insanely fast and quite terrible at everything else. I think the steering ratio is near infiniti.

Also, I’m not defending the 200. I don’t like them, I won’t even get one as a rental car. But that was just a specific example I remember to show how CR isn’t consistent.

Jeep has sold more Cherokees than Subaru sold Foresters in the last three years. In 2014 and 2015 (200 was discontinued in 2016) Chrysler sold more 200s than Foresters and 3x the Imprezas. Is calling a car garbage in Jalopnik article comment section worse than CR in an official car review saying the steering isn’t

When it first came out it had the asterisk under predicted reliability that specified the prediction was based off previous Pacifica models. So as the car was launching customers who used CR saw the poor predicted reliability that was based off false information. The score hasn’t changed since launch.

They gave the Pacifica a road test score in the 80s and then still gave it an overall score in the 60's (I believe) because of predicted reliability based off the previous Pacifica. Which hasn’t been made in a decade. And was actually a Durango. That’s a bunch of BS.

They’re extremely inconsistent actually. They stated the Chrysler 200 as slow and lethargic. They then stated the Subaru Impreza was not fast, but moved well under it’s own power and never seemed to need more power. But the 200 is faster than the Subaru, they even provided data showing that. They also have the

Sounds exactly like changing the heater core in my 93 Honda. And my Neon.

That’s some pretty blatant BS. I used to say the same thing and then I became an automotive engineer and now I don’t say that anymore. Everything is done for a reason. I didn’t drive a reliable car until I was 27 years old so I had plenty of wrenching time. Now I’m an engineer and I still wrench multiple nights a

The comment is slightly wrong... Take the picture above for example. It comes standard with ABS and an engine manufactured by Porsche in Germany... 600lbs and 125hp is pretty good by most standards.

What do you mean finally? Pastrana in a “Dart” in 2012 at the Chelsea Proving Grounds.

You ask for specific replacement tires for your vehicle. If you’re smart enough look at the construction code on your tire. Joe Schmo tire places might not care or even know the difference, but tire rack is always good at matching construction codes.

Tires are tuned for production vehicles just as much as springs, dampers, bushings, steering, and bars. The tire needs to do specific things. Not just be a tire. Some programs car more about fuel economy than steering feel. Or other programs care more about grip than transient stability. Tires have a lot of

90% of production cars have tires developed specifically for that car. The 205/60R17 Goodyear Assurance on the Chevy Cruise (just an example) is a very different tire than the 205/60R17 Goodyear Assurance you’ll get on a 200 or a Focus. The 225/60R17 Firestone LE2 on the Jeep Compass is also a very different tire

I want to see this as a Walberg movie.

Tore the front facia off a rental Challenger rallying through the desert. I had guys in Jeeps and side by sides looking at me funny as I attempting to rock crawl the brand new car. Never got it stuck though. Fixed the front facia back on it and returned it trouble free.

I wondered what they could have possibly been testing in the short parking lot. Then I realized if it goes 0-60 in 2 seconds that parking lot is enough to go 0-60-0. Meanwhile my jeep is barely getting out of first...

Why call it a spinoff in the title (insinuating it’s in the same F&F universe), and then in the body say it’s not a spinoff? I would’ve been interested in it already, didn’t need to be click bated into thinking there was a new F&F movie.

My dad rode from the PNW to Michigan on is 15 year old Heritage. While stopping in MN at yet another dealership to get a patch he saw a new 2018 Ultra Limited with the new 107 and traded up along with upgrading the intake, exhaust, and PCM. He couldn’t believe how comfortable, fast, and fuel efficient it was. He

I put the Mopar 2" lift (which resulting in 4" in the front and 3" in the rear) and King Triple Bypass Shocks and Hydraulic jounce bumpers on my 16 JK 2 Door and it just feels sportier and the harshness isn’t much worse. I’m pretty happy with it for routine and emergency handling on road. Totally worth the benefit
