It does have a very prosaic name for a medical condition, like it was named by a four year old.

Such a great cast... And Lily-Rose Depp, too
So her heart keeps going on even though her body can’t move all the time?
The film’s propmaster, Gunther Schultz-Wiedermeier was most insistent real manure be used.
Prude.
“the point stands that Scarecrow still has more than all of them combined.”
Oh I know you guys get the same complaint about every one of these. Can’t hit them all.
What about the hot pants?
Does that listing for Amazon separate out the “Prime” streaming, and the stuff available for rent/purchase? Because I don’t think the Prime subscription streaming servicehas that many titles, but I could see if you include the rent/buy stuff Amazon overall would.
Welcome back (again), Will.
Eye of the Needle is one of the best thrillers I’ve ever seen. Kate Nelligan was fabulous (as was Sutherland). Also The Eagle Has Landed with Sutherland and a very striking Jenny Agutter.
Another vote for watching the series. I think you can find it on youtube. Just a great adaptation.
Totally agree with Milligna000 — The series that they made of Jonathan Strange & Mr, Norrell was excellent and perfectly cast. An example of getting it exactly right.
Um, go run out and watch the series. It’s literally one of the best adaptations I’ve ever seen. The changes they make are very smart to help tell the story, nothing done just for the hell of it.
Nearly a decade ago, the BBC did a JS & Mr. N miniseries starring Bertie Carvel and Eddie Marsan . I haven’t seen it myself but reviews have been positive.
That’s a myth; he was named after Groening’s father and the Day of the Locust character is just a hilarious coincidence.
Well we’re talking about a sex doll so wouldn’t it be “Electric Buggerloo?”
Y0u scurv3y d0gs!
I was thinking about Ordinary People recently and how magnificent Sutherland and Timothy Hutton were in it. Not even to mention MTM (whose character is so much better developed in the movie than in the book, where she’s essentially a nasty black box of a character)
Those actors who can play practically anything are…
Great actor. Don't Look Now is a favorite. He's incredible in the last few scenes of Ordinary People as a man processing that his marriage has been dying for a long time.
