What about older brothers who went upstairs and never returned?

I like Warburton, but he’s a lot like H. Jon Benjamin in that he really doesn’t do voices. Brock from The Venture Bros, Steve Barkin from Kim Possible, his version of the The Tick from the earlier live action version of The Tick are essentially the same voice.
I like the “shrimp fried rice” joke. Reminds me of the non-parallel construction when menus have “beef lasagna” and “vegetarian lasagna”. There never seems to be ground up vegetarians in the latter.
Regal (the other big chain in the US) also does Noovie. You can’t get away from Maria Menounos (and the plugs for her Heal Squad podcast) wherever you go.
I grew up in Wisconsin which has a large Hmong minority (they are an ethnic minority of Vietnam who were persecuted and so thought it was a good idea to side with the US during the war, which obviously didn’t work out for them so those that could emigrated to the US). I remember how in grade school Halloween…
I just saw the movie. I liked it although I’m bit annoyed that they made the character played by Ian Bliss, who obviously is supposed to be the late James Randi, such an asshole. Yes, I get that in the movie’s universe supernatural forces exist, but the real Randi was such a treasure.
Gary! (unless there was also a Ken vault I didn’t discover).
To some degree, but it is worth understanding that the support that many Asian (and other groups like Jewish) parents have for their children’s success isn’t entirely altruistic — they want their kids to succeed because traditionally in a lot of societies they were from there were no such things as pensions or social…
Like even after the ghoulification? Kinky.
With Richard Thomas! Aka John-Boy, or more recently Agent Gaad.
Ha! That date solves the problem, unlike things like “Pi Day” (March 14) which only work in the US system.
The Ministry Of Ungentlemanly Warfare (based incredibly loosely on the real-life Operation Postmaster) follows the titular Ministry
Or for that matter, that Vault 31 isn’t a real vault with an actual population but just some freezers that occasionally send somebody to 32 or 33? 32 and 33 seem to have a tradition of inter-vault marriages (like Lucy’s) which include a big party with members of both vaults present. Did anyone find it odd that 31…
Yeah, turning feral seems to affect different ghouls at different rates. If it were just a set time to losing their mind, there wouldn’t be any intelligent ghouls who were pre-War humans and every game (and this series) features such ghouls.
That reminds me of an old East German joke. “Q: Sometimes New Germany [the official Communist Party newspaper] says the Soviets are our brothers and other times that they are our friends. Which is it? A: Clearly they must be our brothers. One can choose one’s friends.”
I know I’ve already responded to this, but besides this sketch (which does have a lot of Fallout vibes), and all the other Kids in the Hall stuff, I just realized that Dave Foley voiced Yes Man (Benny’s robot in Fallout:New Vegas that you can get to work for you). Maybe you knew that and that was part of the joke?
Well, I think she was pretty unhinged by grief over Shady Sands and might just be operating in revenge mode rather than being heroic. I’m unclear what she intended to do with the cold fusion reactor. I get that’s what she was working on pre-War before Vault-tec bought and killed the research, but was she going to…
This village is a multi-million dollar installation! They can’t make that kind of decision, they’re just grunts!
And what’s up with Hank’s wife/Lucy’s mom? I get that she was ghoulified when Shady Sands was nuked, and that Moldaver has brought her there to torment Hank for his actions, but why does she look so decrepit? Shady Sands was nuked, like twenty years ago? She’s pretty young so far as ghouls go.
Speaking of our old pal Bud: “I don’t have kids myself, but I do have a training program for up-and-coming executives, and that’s basically the same thing.”
