You also can’t leave out that Haskins grew up a Giants fan in NJ and was essentially campaigning for the Giants’ QB job. He was visibly hurt when they snubbed him, and rightly so. 

Haskins was widely considered the smartest QB in this class with the best pre-snap process. So the idea that he isn’t better than Jones even in the “football IQ” category is difficult to make.

The puzzle is solved. The Giants are racist. Even as a Giants fan, I can no longer deny it in good faith.
