Maybe it’s three times faster when dropped from the 6th floor, thanks to some aerodynamic prowess?

And it’s a good guess!

Now playing

Loveless is a monument, and for a shoe gaze fan, Lovelife might have been Lush’s “worst” album, as it is the the most “pop” release the band ever had (but what a great album, really, including the Jarvis Cocker collaboration, Ciao! not to mention the great EPs that came with it that featured an amazing cover of Love

Too bad. Need for Speed III: Hot Pursuit was the better game (played on PC). When I bought 2010's Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit just expecting more of the same, I was bitterly disappointed (though not as much as with PS3's SSX, which in all aspects couldn’t hold a candle to SSX3 or Tricky).

I’ve preordered this baby...

Sunday scaries, you say? And you need CBD gummies to fight those? Sorry, but I just can’t help but laugh!

As a gaming dinosaur (yes, as a kid, I played video games with LED displays where a lit bar could be anything from a soccer player to a battleship, then Pong, Asteroids in bars, and the first console I received for Christmas was a Magnavox Odyssey², and not a VCS Atari... what were my parents thinking of, really?...),

That’s one could call giving Prost a taste of his own medicine. Please see Japanese GP, 1989.

I quite like the “Let’s become dense” message.

When I saw Yang Yang on the header image, I thought “great, but please put Yi Yi at least near the top”! I was not disappointed.
In fact, I’m totally unable to say what my second favourite film is, but Yi Yi is for sure my all time favourite. Were I ever asked what it means to be human, I would pick this film to answer

I’m awfully sorry but the Fiat 124 Spider that has been chosen to illustrate this article is not that bad looking...

You’re right. ;) It might be a matter of generations, too. No Spotify, Deezer or whatever here, just a lot of CDs and LPs. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

To be honest, it was easier to get the earlier releases, when they were under the scalpers’ radars. Got a few games, like Thomas Was Alone for the Vita without breaking a sweat. But lately, with the the stuff you can’t preorder, it has become pretty much impossible to validate a single purchase... Still, in the next

Too bad I’ve been interested in the non-preorder games... With a standard approach to ordering from the other side of the Atlantic, I never stood a chance. :/

It sucks being a gamer these days, when something nice comes up for sale in limited amounts. Scalpers are way better equipped than you and me, and it leads to “interesting” ebay offers, for sure. That’s what happens with the Limited Run Games sales, too, which only lead to frustration. And even if I could sometimes be

Nice, but even if I’m looking for a portable system for playing retro games without breaking the law, and even if I could throw my Lynx games at this gorgeous piece of kit, I guess that I’ll go with the Evercade, for it makes collecting the games I drooled over as a kid much more convenient.

And just a sample of the “japanification” in the Opéra surroundings, we have:

OK, here are the good addresses, for restaurants, and authentic Japanese products: they’re all around the avenue de l’Opéra. Fine restaurants that won’t break the bank can be found:

Besides the classics, chocolate or coffee, we now have quite a few flavours to choose from, most of them fruit-based. But in the Paris Japanese district, go for an éclair au macha, or an éclair au yuzu. Not bad, not bad at all!
