But it lacks a front lip.

Now playing

Thanks everyone for the appreciation messages, but there’s something that the pictures can’t translate: a real sense of scale. So, to put things into perspective, I’m not exactly tall (5ft 9in), but when I’m on the balcony, my eyes are level with the roof. OK, it’s not small, then, it’s tiny!

Self-driving cars suck. There, I said it...

Now that you mention it... ;)

The 80s.

But I thought the ceiling was for spider-crushing XBox game cases?... Still, I can see how many more can be crushed with a monitor. That’s next-stage spider crushing for sure!

It looks very much like a way some people settle arguments in the good ole US of A, these days. And that’s reason enough for me to never want to set foot in the “land of the free”. Knowing that everybody and their neighbours can carry a gun would make me go paranoid!

Because it’s crap and watching Satoshi Kon’s Paprika looks like a better option with a similar theme.

It was born from the actual thread context, but I can’t say if it qualifies as a Dad joke, though...

It was shot in the Trump tower?

That wouldn’t be very wise, imho. The Kotaku fish would just draw in the penguin cretins: this is a risk Luke won’t take!

Because we can’t have the best things...

This, very much this...

Good thing you didn’t include this in the main story, Jason. It definitely makes it less enjoyable. And even the present circumstances make it shine in a certain light, there is still enough comedic substance to elicit a few giggles, thanks for that.

I was just a little surprised that the sound didn’t change when inside tunnels, tbh... That’s what tunnels are for, wrooooaaar, aren’t they?

You’re absolutely right. It’s more of a continental thing (think Belgium, France, Italy, or Spain), and it’s the same in France as in Italy: you have to go to village bars, those that haven’t changed in, say, 50 years, which is not bad, to be honest! And anyway, the Bonzini tables they have here look like they could

Right, I take it that you’ve never played the stuff, or lived in Europe. Foosball, as you Americans say, is a staple of student and café life, here. OK, maybe I should say “was”, because I has mainly disappeared from bars: like pinball machines, it probably occupies too much space for too little revenue.

It was too good to be true. We’ll just have to deal with Hayao Miyazaki’s CG movies, then...

First of all, get yourself a CRT TV and a busted microwave oven. That’s the easy part. Then, it gets complicated!

I’ll chime in (Kyoto resident stuck in Europe for some reason). If you like your kara-age, do yourself a favour and go for some fugu kara-age. Living in Osaka, it won’t be difficult to find some!
