Jason, you had me at “Fahey games”! Among my 100+ Vita games, there are quite a few of them (and guess what, most are good games), but much will be forgiven, since Suikoden I and II are there as well.

Indeed! I bought the PS4 version on sale and never touched it since, but Riley, you’ve managed to sell me the game a second time: it’s now on top of my “what’s next?” list! Thanks!

Though I have to agree with the review, I still feel that the Journey comparison is doing no favour to Abzû, even though it looks, and sounds (thanks, Austin Wintory!), wonderful. If you haven’t played it, maybe you shouldn’t read any further, for it might have minor spoilers.

Now playing

Good to see that some publishers have not given up on the Vita and think that localization is still a thing. And here’s a Japanese trailer with some in-game pics... Bring it on!

Too late to edit my reply... Just a few more words: if you missed the previous art books, they’re still available on the Studio 4°C online store, and they are wonderful. The concept arts for the town are incredible: they did put so many details there that the Tekkonkinkreet city is not just a background to me, but

No probs! My pleasure, really.

Another Studio 4°C fan! I’ve posted this as a reply to another post, but since the nopic is not exactly making the headlines, here we go! Studio 4°C is having a 10-year celebration for Tekkonkinkreet. They release a storyboard book, and it looks gorgeous. The thing is that it’s crowdfunded, and they’re a little far

Hey there! Even if it’s out of the blue, I guess that if it flew under your radar, you could be glad to know that Studio 4°C is having a 10-year celebration for Tekkonkinkreet. They release a storyboard book, and it looks gorgeous. The thing is that it’s crowdfunded, and they’re a little far from their goal. The price

Indeed. Where are the power pellets?

Play all three Zero Escape games?

I could do with Katamari Damacy, for it couldn’t have been done anywhere else than Japan: its the perfect association of a WTF idea, cute visual and sounds, and an unmistakably Japanese soundtrack, all put to good effect in order to deliver a compelling gameplay.

Thanks for the news, Jason. That might explain why the bonus edition I ordered from eBay (yay, we Europeans didn’t even deserve a physical release!) hasn’t shipped yet, and why the seller hasn’t even sent a message...

Why is Kumamon next to the Warcraft, China-only, beer? Except for the glory of Satan, of course...

It’s quite likely that 999 on the Vita will be a digital-only version, for we haven’t heard of a physical release yet, and I can’t imagine that it could be more expensive than the DS cartridge you found.

Or just wait a few days, for it’s quite likely that a visually updated 999 (like the Steam version) will find its way to the Vita screen.

It’s not just “another rumour”, it’s because of a tweet by Kotaro Uchikoshi himself.

Hurray! You know those Vita guys, they really like their little console and they tend to spoil it when a nice game is released... And I’m sure that VA-11 Hall-A will receive a warm welcome, it’s pretty much the perfect platform for such a story-rich game: I have a hard time turning my PC into my bedside book!

Thanks for the nice review! Still, I’ll resist buying for the time being. Why? Because a Vita version is planned! Oh yeah...
