Yep. Imported the Famitsu DX edition, but the pic was taken before Yakuza 0 was even released. Now, I need a PS4 to play it!

I do get your point of view, and I was the same, until the PS4 got released. I’m waiting to be compelled to get one, but it hasn’t happened yet (it’s coming, though!). There’s still life in the PS3, and I don’t plan to unplug it, though all my amp’s HDMI ports are used (so, add a switch to the shopping list).
Ha! Didn’t get it, obviously. No worries!
The true ending indicates that you’ve reached the story that will be the one that will have echoes in other episodes, whether they’re sequels or prequels (knowing which is which can get quite complicated with Steins;Gate). In othe words, you could say it’s the canon story.
There’s more subtlety in the 999 and VLR stories, in the grand plot that drives the games, but Danganronpa is so much fun. Danganronpa’s eccentricity is its main quality, something that really makes it shine. And you can love both Zero Escape (yay, number 3 coming!) and Danganronpa, the two series being addictive in…
I have the same games ahead of me, but I’mm throw in Corpse Party: Blooddrive. Considering your tastes, it could be right up your alley, if you fancy anime-ish VNesque psychological horror games...
You’re in for a treat, and the Vita is perfect for visual novels: the right size to become a gamified bedside book for a while!
It’s really good, as Jason mentions it. The localization respected the original material, you can feel it, and they didn’t sacrifice anything in the translation process: they have their otakuisms right (and they rendered them perfectly in English), and the rest as well.
Exactly. There’s a tipping point, and it would be a shame to stop before reaching it, because then...
The amazing fact to me is how they manage to connect “real-life” elements (the Titor affair, CERN facts), otaku-ish elements (Daru is a bundle of joy!) and make a fictional work that is quite coherent, it its own logical world, that is. I was in the Geneva area in the middle of my first gameplay, and if I had some…
Right, now that you mention it, same here: I forgot I imported RGG 0 after I took that pic! I still have to buy a PS4 to play it though! Alas, the only games that were purchased “on site” (in Japan) were Kenzan (the Best edition just got released when I was there, so the “best” it was...), RGG3, and Of the End. As for…
Just let them think of it for the episodes that got released later, like Yakuza 0, or Isshin, though I wouldn’t hold my breath for the latter. Indeed they have seldom released spin-offs, with the exception Yakuza of the End.
Can you believe that some people still have a PS3 and a PS2 hooked to their TV? Last time around, I didn’t feel the need for a day-1 purchase, and to this day, I’m still waiting to be convinced to buy a PS4. Mind, it’s so-called superior versions that will make me get one: MGS V (game pre-ordered on PS4) and Persona…
You!
Alpacaman approves.
It looks like complaining has become a national sport on my local PS blog. If only they could pay attention to the Super Time Force Ultra acronym...
I know. My Vita gets more play time than any other platform these days, and games keep coming and piling up. But sure, it’s dying, a little every day, like all of us. That’s what was suggested, right? ;)
I haven’t read anything about it in the reviews (or maybe I just didn’t pay attention), but how good is the OST? Not Joy Division (I know it’s good) or the 80s tracks, but the proper music created for MGS V? I will skip the collector’s edition because there’s no OST, but is it good enough to consider ordering it as a…
Kotaku being Kotaku, I would say that you dig Dug.
Looks at his wife...
