Who’s that Okabe? Do you mean Hououin Kyouma?

This. This would be disruptive enough to fit perfectly with Nintendo’s promise.
Agreed, but then, it wouldn’t be much of a surprise, would it?
Or maybe it could be streaming a remote machine powerful enough to run Unreal 4? It’s been a while since services à la Gaikai/OnLive haven’t made the news (other than closing announcements!).
Thanks. That would make sense, for I can’t imagine Nintendo releasing a home console competing with the XBOX One and the PS4. Heck, they promised something unexpected and groundbreaking, right?
Who knows what the NX will be? It might not be a home console, but an ecosystem allowing you to play on different hardware solutions, be it your phone, your PC, and -why not?- your Wii U... OK, I’ll stop, for I’m just making wild guesses, obviously.
“especially since I need that 3DS version.”
Doesn’t it look like a wasted opportunity for cross-play/cross-save?
Stop tempting me, please, or I’ll have a hard time explaining the missus that I’ve started spending the benefits of the company I’m launching next September! But, er, I see your point... I see it quite well. I could just say that I found a PS4 left at the door: “let’s plug it, it certainly doesn’t work... Oh, we’re so…
Sure, but I can still get Rocket League through PS+ now, and download it later, when I get a PS4. Unless they pull a P.T. on us, that is, but I can’t see that happening!
Thanks for the suggestion. I’ve considered it, but most games make my Radeon 6970 sound like a Boeing 747 about to take off, and I haven’t bothered using anything but the mouse-keyboard combo for my PC needs (yep, I’m lazy like that: I could plug in a DualSchock 3, and fiddle with some drivers, but no... I’m ashamed,…
Since its release, I’ve been pushing the puchase of a PS4 as far as I could, waiting for Persona 5 and MGS V to convince me despite the PS3 versions, but every time you post about Rocket League, it makes me doubt my decision...
No worries.
Thanks. Strangely, I had the missus play Journey too, and her reaction was somewhat different. She’s an exclusive match-3 player (d’oh!), and -sorry, spoilers ahead for newcomers- she would often say “wow, it’s beautiful”, and when her character died in the snow, she went “is it over? It’s over right?”. I didn’t tell…
Thanks. Next time I play Journey will be quite special I guess, but I’ll allow some more time to pass since it all happened some 8 weeks ago.
Quick! Here come the velocirapists!
Great post, and it does resonate with my own experience. Journey is a game to be shared, especially when people have no preformed opinion about it. Here’s something I wrote before in another topic, but it fits quite well here, I guess. And as time passes, I see that it deserved modifications, anyway.
That should just work on Mothra, but you’re right, you never know.
No probs, mate, my pleasure. Thanks for your recommendations as well. Leaving for some holidays on Saturday, but I’ll let you know if I need more when I’m back (I will have to rely on a 56k connection for a while, so not the best streaming conditions!).
More than the game itself, it’s the fact that Studio4°C is involved that I find the most tempting. Studio4°C, the makers of Mindgame, Tekkon Kinkreet, or the Genius Party collections. And their gaming collaborations (even if it was just for cutscenes or design) were not too shabby either, just think of Catherine!
