Gregor Samsa would approve.

At least, that made me buy the old Microprose game (again) from Steam. 2K should be thanked for reviving the XCOM nostalgy, but the new FPS game? Nothankyou.

Obviously, you don't qualify in that particular group I was aiming at, exemplified by those TV hosts. That will teach me not to make quick generalizations... My bad.

Note to young ladies in their 60s: don't even try to hit on guys in their 40s. They would rather play their videogames. Really.

If I can just comment on your statement, people in their early 40s grew up with games. I got a Magnavox Odyssey 2 when I was 8 and never stopped playing, and I guess I'm no exception. So, could you please raise the cut-off limit, so that I (and others) can feel part of the band? ;)

"it's a puzzle-platformer (which I dig) and Atlus developed it (which I dig even more). "

Loved Rez to bits, also. It's the only game that justifies that my PS2 is still plugged in my TV. Some say it's a short game, maybe, but that's the one I replay, again and again. It's like playing a music album you like, you play it time and again, unlike a game you completed and don't feel like touching again...

"What kind of crap is this, Europe is the BIGGEST market for Sony in Europe"

And of course, when we get it, it will be in any colour we want, as long as it's black, I guess.

Indeed. When we went to the Don Quijote shop in Osaka, my wife wondered how I knew that we could walk out on the other side of the shop, in the next parallel street. Yakuza, Dear, Yakuza...

How come I didn't think of that one in my previous reply? Thanks for reminding me: indeed, I would also fall asleep with Nobi Nobi Boy, as well as with Tetris and Lumines. And that doesn't mean that I don't like those games: I'm some kind of Lumines junkie (the PSP versions are those of choice), Tetris is... well,

Agreed, I might fall asleep while playing Tetris. The same happens with Lumines, which is in my opinion an even better game (as far as the PSP versions are concerned).

Way to go, guys! I we all give our best, we can hit the top spot next year!

Or just some tongue-in-cheek humour...

I fear that they won't find that lulzy enough, alas.

La li lu le lo.

The one thing that makes me curious at the moment is something that is briefly alluded to, in Yoshida's interview: "[...]we are talking about how to deliver these two different versions to consumers, hopefully, in a financially beneficial way for people who want to play on both consoles."

I don't care about the Olympics either, but it would have forced our authorities to rejuvenate somewhat our public transportation system. ;)

"Hopefully one of those is Vegas. I've always thought E3 would go down a treat in Vegas."

I can't disagree with you: Japanese companies haven't made the strongest of showings at the E3, to say the least. But I can't help keeping hope that there's more to come. Given the current situation, maybe ithey considered that keeping the focus on their main turf and cheering up their local fans was all that was
