All a pinball simulation needs is a bunch of tables created by a real pinball designer, and my vote goes to Pat Lawlor of Bally and Williams fame. @Hey There Super Dude: Can't say exactly why, it reminds me of the 2D version of Katamari Damacy one could play, after completing the game. Maybe it's just that, some kind of wink at the Katamari fans, for it seems that the "Nobi Boy" we saw previously had a 3D-modelling...
