I was reading her work in the early '90s. She's timeless. I'd be surprised if preteen chicks weren't reading her anymore. Surprised and kind of upset. My mother never would've taught me the important things I learned from the lovely Ms. Blume.

Both of them are famous for doing basically nothing and for having rich friends in the right places. So of course I want to hear as much as possible about them while still hating them.

I agree that men should be expected to take part in preventing pregnancy. Case in point, a friend of mine who has four kids, all unplanned, with her husband. She had to get her tubes tied after the fourth kiddo popped out-her hubby 'couldn't get around' to having a vasectomy. Yikes.
