Ye gods it’s not sublimation either! You can’t instantly turn solid ice into steam with a Zippo! As anyone who’s peed on snow knows, it absorbs liquids, hence yellow snow! FFS! Dip a snowball into some coloured liquid and watch it soak it up like a snowcone. Put it over a Bunsen burner with a blue flame and you’ll see

If you can read it in a tenth of a second then it's running at 30fps

I’ve been playing since the start with gaps for other games. I don’t know anything about what it’s like to work for Bungie but if this way of releasing content means less crunch hours (something I hear a LOT of with other companies) then I’m ok with the drip feed. We get regular season content and other stuff happens

On the whole this reinforces my thinking that I can wait a while for this generation. I’ll upgrade my Xbonex at some point but there’s no rush. Not a jab at Microsoft or the article, just the reality of a mid Covid launch where for understandable reasons, the launch lineup simply isn’t finished.

I grew up in the countryside, my best friend lived 3 fields away, we always had games but never the same system. I had a Vic 20, he had an Oric 1. I got a C64, he got spectrum. Eventually we both got commodore Amigas. Our whole lives have had a gaming core, we went to arcades in town and emptied 10ps (uk) into bubble

I would throw cold hard cash at my screen to get monsters that weren’t zombies, mutated froglikes or just a lot of teeth. I want creepy and unsettling.

My take on this is that I can now wait for the horizon and miles reviews and see how they’re playing on the PS4, if they’re significantly lesser beasts then fair enough, I’ll spring for the new model. Would be nice to have an option to buy on one and play on both or pay for an upgrade to ps5 that was less than the

Gotta love how the video adverts now sit over the top of everything at the top of the page on Android. Such fun. Not.

If I remember correctly, when it was powering up, it was connected to the sun so blowing it up would take the sun with it. There was some techno babble. I’m assuming that once it was aimed at the earth, they disconnected it from the sun. They couldn’t then blow it up then because reasons I guess.

Now that Control has price dropped it might be time to get into that. Saying that I still haven’t started Spiderman since that most recently price dropped because Kassandra isn’t going to find her mum on her own. Resisting turnips in AC, I’ve only had it for 2 weeks so I can still afford most things with a bit of

This is where I’ve always liked the non verbal objective cues like visual target placing or character voices saying “rally here” etc. Dunno how well they work but for simple objective control they’re theoretically enough.

Thanks for that link. I really needed this and I didn't even know it!

That chain has baked my noodle. Awesome work!

Future testing in the UK on a large scale will be to find out who’s had it and is now immune rather than testing for who’s got it now. That’s the kind of testing that I hope will enable us to slowly bring the economy back online. I think the idea of having a healthy pool of workers who can step into essential roles

I knew I didn’t need to do the final puzzle to get the rifle but getting up to the grave and the final speech from the future was worth it for me. Sure I could watch it on YouTube but I’m glad I made the trek.

It’s the Xbox Sex Pro that'll be interesting to market

It appears that this will be a story about scars caused by parents not understanding who their kids are. I’ve seen plenty of stories like this that were interesting and engaging, they were usually about career choices in the 80s, kid wanted to be a musician not a lawyer or didn’t want to do sport like their dad or

Anything you can zone into so Wipeout or on mobile, Alto’s adventure or even better, Odyssey. Space giraffe was awesome and I really tuned into the audio cues. Oxenfree is a hoot and I'd imagine Edith Finch would work. Props to whoever said Rez, I went off on this ramble because you beat me to it!

It looks too clean to me. No dust rising when the vehicle screeches to a halt. Reminiscent of live action video game graphics rather than of a finished quality render.

I dunno about titles, we normally tell this as “that time Pete got abducted”
