I'd say he's rather more naturalistic than Walken. He speaks in a haunted drone, not a bizarre, iconic, and utterly inhuman cadence. Stick Shannon in a car with Woody Allen talking about suicide, and Annie Hall becomes a horror film.

I wonder if that dumb duck will remember he can fly?
