Really bratty and insecure.
Really bratty and insecure.
Those eyebrows were the real Big Bad of Season 4.
14 year old me got a lot of, uh, substance out of that show.
This time on Fear the Walking Dead, or:The Island of Dr. Morose
I think Strand realised that, Big Boss or not, he had to let them win everyone once in a while. Hence the shot of him looking at everyone in the room and they're giving him the stink-eye.
Pretty sure the idea was the she didn't want them eat cyanide cake one their 8th birthdays, as she thought even a life possibly on the run was better than that.
The apparent miscarriage won't help things.
Hey! It seemed like a good idea at the time!
Maybe it's a generational thing, but I thought The Dark Knight Returns was too complex for it's own good. Millers insistence on hammering in all that commentary just never did it for me. It's a fantastic Batman story, but his worst traits really shine through sometimes.
I get the coward —> not coward progression, but it was so rushed that I find it hard to seriously consider it worthy as character development. And there's still things you can you Eugene.. It's pretty hard to make WW2 movie that isn't a jingoistic rah rah, given the context of the war. And good as it is, FMJ always felt a little disjointed to me.
He's been hit and miss, but he's rarely been bad. That counts for something, at least.
Spielberg is the creator of the Medal of Honor series, so you can pretty much give him all the blame/credit you want. He's basically the granddaddy of the fps war genre as it is today.
What exactly is the alcoholic time-frame? I understand the criticism of the alcoholism (and the daddy issues) from a narrative standpoint. These days people generally expect a show to hint at or naturally progress to whatever point it's going. But I'm not sure substance abuse and deep ingrained family issues are one…
