Parents are not owed the love of their children. The judge is treating the children’s affection as if it were a asset to be awarded in the divorce.

The court-appointed sounds like he has some hurt feelings here: “The way they speak to authorities is unbelievable.” I suspect the oldest kid is precious and a bit mouthy — and several court officials have let their pride get in the way of their good judgement.

They apparently refuse to even talk to anyone involved in the proceedings other than cussing them out including counselors, attorneys, teachers, police, and finally the judge. Even the 9 year old... Apparently the mother had told them that they ‘couldn’t really love her’ if they did.

The reason I’m suspicious of the court-appointed advocate is this sentence:

The entire concept of “parental alienation” is highly disputed, and definitely not established in the medical field. The simplest explanation tending to be the true one, seems FAR more likely the kids don’t want to be around their dad because of something he did. Brainwashing? Seriously? smfh
