I think this was the first episode the show actually made me feel some emotions. It's always tried so hard to make the viewers feel a certain way and it's anything but subtle. It's like the writers are yelling at me: "HERE. THIS IS WHAT SAD FEELS LIKE." The over-the-top acting also doesn't help. And neither does Mandy

I was watching old Debbie Downer skits and when my mom walked into the room and saw Rachel Dratch she said "she looks like a character from that animated burger show" and I can't unsee it now.

I'm glad the revival happend simply because we got Rory quoting Faith Lehane. Also, at some point, this turned into a weird Gilmore Girls/Parenthood/Bunheads mash-up and I loved it.

As much as I love the show I don't think I'd want full seasons of it again. It just belongs to the early 2000s and I don't think the actors would want to do that. It had its run, it had its ending, and as much as I'm always gonna want more of the Gilmores, I'm also happy it's done.

I can't really see that working out as these are completely different shows and Doctor Who specials are complete stories and there's just no way to do that with GG. Which is a shame because I could just watch an hour of the characters sitting on a couch not talking to each other.

So after this episode I demand at least another 4 Gilmore Girls episodes doing justice to Lane Kim and giving her a proper storyline. Also, a Bunheads revival.

I like to think everything she's done since season 1 lead to her hook-up with the Wookie.

This episode gets an A from me simply for Paris saying the words "Gone Girl" and "Buffy: the Vampire Slayer", and calling Rory her and Lorelai's girl in the span of about 30 minutes.
Also, call me crazy, but her saying she will kill Doyle in court was a HTGAWM reference.

I actually just realised I misunderstood a part of your first reply to my comment.
But yes, her making it seem like winning the election was a guaranteed did play a big role in why she lost (in a big simplification). But again, for me, that doesn't change how I see her. Her hubris doesn't make her other qualities

My knowledge about Hillary is extremely limited, most of the things I know about her are based on her campaign and the little reading I did about her. And she probably is, to some degree, corrupt. Sadly, I think anyone involved in politics in this day and age is. One thing is, the media can be so manipulative, it's

I don't know anything about the gun policies in the US (living in Europe, guns are kind of an "abstract concept" for me) but seeing how reluctant they were to the proposed restrictions (because that's what I believe was happening, and not a full ban) show just how dangerous their mindsets are.
It's really shocking how

It's funny (well, actually tragic) how Hillary was portrayed and seen as a she-devil because of this but Trump has got away with everything he said.
I've said this so many times but those people really don't get it. They still see it as a Republicans vs Democrats when people are actually in danger because of this. The

The comment I was going to reply to seems to have been deleted, but I just need to get this out here.

I do not live in America but what is happening right now is totally frightening. And the scariest thing for me is the number of his supporters that doesn't see the damage this election has already done. The level of hypocrisy they represent and their inability to acknowledge the fact that by voting for him they've put
