The biggest issue is that it was just a Pokemon GO reskin, and whereas most people have a fondness for at least one or two pokemon, there’s just not the same draw to be like, “oh hey, I have Generic Hogwarts Student.. or This Magical Trinket..” Plus it was kind of like, “Go collect these things because reasons and

If the service worked as expected, you might have a point, but I don’t feel it’s “entitled” to expect an emulated game that you’re paying money to access to at least be 100% functional.

Ehhhh... the very lukewarm reception of the 3DS and subsequent price drop / ambassador games is proof that Nintendo is willing to take action if things look bleak enough. I just don’t know that this is going to qualify is all.

So what exactly, are the benefits of a blockchain in regards to gaming that couldn’t simply be handled in a more efficient manner by any standard, well-designed database?

I mean... is it really stealing if you’re the studio that was responsible for L4D in the first place?

Apparently the Epic Game Store didn’t get the memo from Tim Sweeney?

How can you leave off a complete remake of ActRaiser!

First impressions are that they’ve added a bunch of new stuff to the city-building part of the game to add a little more actual gameplay and strategy to it, while keeping the core of the game intact. It’s glorious!

Ehhhh... crapping on things just because they use premade assets is kind of lame, some really enjoyable games have come out of pre-made Unity assets. I’ve had a great time with both House Flipper and Phasmophobia, and the asset store is a great way to take a weird concept like that and make it reality without having

Right? Like, that’s the other big thing, they want at least $300 for this thing, which, you can get a Switch Lite for $199 and play actual games that people have heard of....

As someone who actually has fond memories of playing Intellivision games growing up, even *I* don’t know who this is meant for.

Someone at Niantic heard that their players were having fun and enjoying the game, and decided that this just couldn’t stand.

It’s not like this turned into hitting pokestops across town or anything, it just made it so you can keep a comfortable distance from it and still interact. There’s not really any compelling

Could be, but more likely it’s a change to make it so they can tweak it based on account location to account for countries where things are worse than others.

I mean, sure, remove references to this dude so he’s not memorialized, since he’s a shitty person but like, then fix the problems too? This feels like a “look what we’re doing to make this better” as they sweep it all under the rug.

Man, is there any more head-up-your-own ass statement than “It’s a privilege to work here” ?

No it’s not, working anywhere isn’t a privilege. You don’t “owe” your boss for giving you the job, your boss is supposed to compensate you for performing a task that requires your skills. The workers can survive without the

If Nigel Thornberry doesn’t yell “SMASHING” as he beats the shit out of someone, what was the point?

Pretty much, which is why the Mac version isn’t affected, because it’s a different SKU, and likely in much less demand than either the PC or PS4 versions.

Honestly, I would be surprised if we got a “New Nintendo Switch” before we end up getting a full next gen Switch.

Their past dalliances in slightly-upgraded hardware with the New Nintendo 3DS and DSi before it didn’t really result in much, because there were so few games released that actually required the updated

Yeah, I mean, I went all in on Super Dungeon Legends, so a slight delay or something on a project, or an updated shipping cost is nothing comparatively, lol. Especially when you consider both the pandemic and the whole Suez canal thing mucking things up.

Unfortunately they’re not going that far. Nova Crystallis had some more recent shots of what each game is going to look like, and they’re... passable.

I backed the Assassin’s Creed board game, and it’s getting around to shipping, and they’re finding that they’re going to have to have the backers pay more for shipping now because there was no way they could have planned for shipping prices to spike as much as they have. Kinda sucks, but, it is what it is.
