Motion control aiming with split joy-cons is probably my favorite aiming method in any shooter. It’s like playing RE4 on the Wii with Wiimote aiming. Super precise and easy to handle. I have WAY better aim in Splatoon 2 than I’ve ever had using dual analog.

Star Ocean: First Departure / Star Ocean : Second Evolution
So they’re not stuck unable to be played on my broken PSP.
In fact, just port the majority of Square-Enix’s PSP catalog over.

To be fair, before people get too excited, she never said the words “Megaman X Legacy Collection”. The caption said that all 8 titles would be released on the latest platforms “throughout the year”

I feel like one thing that would have helped Wolfenstein would be some indication as to whether an enemy can actually be killed by a headshot. Too many times was my stealth ruined by trying to headshot a guy that just got annoyed because he was so far in the distance I didn’t notice his heavier armor with everything

Wolfenstein II does this a bit subtly too. If you die repeatedly in a section, it’ll start respawning you with higher health if you were below max, and eventually, die enough and you’ll start respawning with armor as well.

P5's plot definitely helped mitigate some of the length. I think where the game started to drag was near the end, honestly. Everything past the Cruise Ship Palace didn’t have the same impact as everything before it, and felt overly long for the sake of being long, while not being very distinct feeling. It also

I think the point isn’t so much that you’re not always making some sort of progress, but that there’s so much added gating that it’s artificially extending the life of the game just by making things tedious and slow-going. It sounds from his description that the game could have used a little bit of streamlining.

I did get a copy of it actually. It’s a good book!

So wait, was this the “special announcement” they had talked about regarding the stream celebrating the title’s sales?

Ezio being in Soul Calibur V was sort of an odd choice.. I guess maybe he thought Soul Edge was a Piece of Eden?

My understanding was that they actively tried to avoid partnering with things that actively promoted war and violence, hence why Warcraft, Halo, and Call of Duty were all Mega Bloks sets.

It makes me wonder what they thought the standard Castle knights were doing with their swords, but whatever.

Blizzard gets artists to make all of this amazing art for posters, and then ruins them by putting gigantic-ass logos right in the middle of the artwork, turning them into ugly billboards instead of something I’d want to hang on a wall. Like, the WoW and Diablo posters are sweet, but I already know they’re WoW and

As someone who played WoW for nearly 8 years, and stopped just before Legion, all I get from this expansion reveal is a resounding “Meh”.

They already brought back the faction conflict for Mists of Pandaria, and half that expansion was about how the faction conflict was actually stupid and that we had more important

Well that’s a gigantic fuck you to Runic, especially after they just released a game so recently. This whole trend of moving toward multiplayer, games as a service thing really sucks. And what makes it even worse is that PWE is holding onto Torchlight / Torchlight II, so even if the former Runic devs wanted to make a

I still wish we could get ports of the PSP FF1 / FF2 anniversary editions on Steam. They are pretty glaring omissions from the list of FF games available on PC, and it’s baffling they haven’t taken the 30th anniversary as an excuse to re-release the game that started it all.

I actually tend to play docked 90% of the time. Even if I’m traveling to a friend’s house or something with it, I’ll bring the dock, because ultimately we’re going to end up playing something with couch multiplayer, and trying to fit everyone around a tiny screen for Mario Kart or Overcooked just doesn’t work that

I mean, that’s an SMT tradition by this point, isn’t it? Right along with Hama and Mudo being more effective on your party than on any enemy you meet.

Eh, they’re not hurting anyone, so they can do what they want.
Half the problems with nerd culture these days is probably from people getting shit on for what they liked back in the day, why make it worse?

I tend to get most of my big name games on game cards, while I buy the stuff that is eShop-only from the eShop. Both because most eShop only games are small and I don’t need to worry much about download size, and because if I buy the physical card, I can get that sweet 20% discount on games that will normally never

Don’t forget that Lightning and Shantotto have both made appearances in FFXIV as well.
