Actually, this has been tested. The preferred method of application doesn’t seem to matter. There’s a video on Youtube of a guy testing like...8 different ways people apply the grease and it makes no difference in any of the stress tests. As such, I’d just do a strip down the middle with this and it’d probably be fine.

Really, just buy a laser printer. Doesn’t really matter what brand. Toner is (basically) graphite and plastic. Doesn’t dry up, takes years to get “old”, and prints a lot more pages. I don’t think I’ll ever purchase an inkjet printer.

Sometimes the off the wall picks are the best picks. I have a Travelers Judgement 5 sidearm I made from this season’s stuff and I’ve found to to be surprisingly effective in the crucible. rapid hit + headseeker + a high impact 3 round burst that kills relatively quickly.
