Well, major reason I’ve seen is the buying exclusives. Combo with sketchy security and backing, and a store/platform missing many standard features and you’ve got a mess.

Go for it. As long as you’re happy that’s all that really matters. My issue isn’t the price. It’s a combo of their business practices, lax security, primary investor, and poor interface. As such, no money to that store.
To be fair, the best way to express your opinion is to vote with your money. I don’t like the epic store for various reasons, so I don’t spend money there. That said, this does look like an interesting game.
Awesome. One of my favorites and the first Anime I actually bought.
I could see that. However, steam has a very strong backend these days, so I doubt that’s really an issue. Personally, I don’t really shut my PC down often aside from automatic updates (once a month? Maybe?)
Generally speaking, they try to schedule the updates during times you aren’t actively using the PC. They never seem to take into account that you shut down said PC though.
For sure. Finished the first trilogy, working on Liveship now (about at the end of Book 2). I haven’t had a writer make me actively hate a character so much, for being who he is, and not because it was poorly written.
This. My parents tell me “You should just do XYZ yourself, it’s cheaper!” Except, it’s not cheaper in my time spent. They have owned their house for years...because they paid 30k for back in the 70s. That same house would cost about $250k today. Between rising costs and additional expenses they didn’t have when they…
I was at the time. Had to do that stuff in class, group projects, etc. I didn’t spend much time at home in college.
Sure. It’s why I don’t have one now. I technically still have the old laptop and it works, but I haven’t pulled it out in.... at least a year. It was a solid thing though, with a quad core i7 and a 260m. In 2009 when I got it, it was really really nice.
Well, this was....almost 10 years ago now. Google’s tools we just becoming a thing towards the end of my college career, and they sucked tbh. They’re still just passable IMO. Also, if all you need is to write papers and basic excel work, a Chromebook is fine. The reality is that unless you’re like...an English or…
Needs. When I was in college, I wanted to game, but I also needed a laptop for school. Couldn’t afford both a laptop and a gaming desktop, so a gaming laptop was the best option. I actually did own an Alienware as it was exactly what I was looking for. The design was a bit much, but the laptop was good and did…
The answer is 9, and only someone bad at math should interpret it as 6 over 2(1+2). Unless it is written as a fraction, properly, it should be considered division. Some (stupid) teachers teach it that way, and it’s why we have this “issue”. I have never, through all of my studies, had a book or instructor tell me that…
Yes....yes it is. This is commonly 2(1+2) = 2*(1+2) is commonly accepted math shorthand. I’d like to avoid whoever taught you math.
Agreed. 6th gen interior feels very cramped compared to my 5th. It almost felt like sitting in an old Miata that put on a few pounds.
Marginally better, but better I guess. I went from an 01 to a 2015. Rear windows are better in the 01, but the mirrors a astoundingly better in the 2015, so it’s a wash to me. My trim also has the back up camera, so it’s not such a big deal backing up. (Should have been standard on all 5th gen tbh)
How fondly do you look back at your childhood? Are your rose tinted glasses particularly rosy? I watched the first terminator a few years back and it was super cringy. (Don’t do it, you’ll probably regret it. =D)
Pretty much everything so far has been animated until this. Live action stuff is always a gamble. When it’s done well, it’s amazing. When it’s even a bit off, it’s a disaster. It also tends to age poorly.
I have. Some of them are super dark, you’re not wrong. What I meant was that at a surface level, Pokemon is traditionally presented bright and cheery. When you start digging there’s some creepy shit for sure though, but it’s rarely in your face about it in the games and shows.
Perhaps. Without numbers we’ll never know, and obviously they’re not going to tell us. Selling on both would theoretically net them the most benefit though overall. I also wonder about the exact wording on the deals with this exclusivity. Is it for the 1 game, or these and future games? If it’s also for future games,…
