I’m with you, mostly. I have the previous gen and I love it. Aside from the small trunk opening, it’s quite livable and does most car things acceptably. New one is quite cramped feeling comparatively though. And less trunk space. And the back seat may as well not be there. Only thing I honestly disagree on is visibilit

I’ve almost hit a few people near work because of stupidity like this. There’s a gas station, and people insist on making lefts out of it across the busy traffic coming up to the light. Sometimes people waiting at the light will let them out, and they make lefts across the left hand turn lane at the light, where I’ve

I had a similar happen, not long after MY first accident. I had gotten my car back for about...a month or so, and as I’m driving through the parking lot after lunch, I feel a “thump” and my car stops. I look around, and realize that someone just backed into my rear quarter. We exchange info, insurance is under her

Sadly, yes. Better to CYA than regret it later. I don’t care how much of an inconvenience it is to the other driver, I am getting a police report as it’s more of an inconvenience to me to have to foot a repair bill that I shouldn’t have to (and may not be able to afford). I wish I could trust people, but honestly it’s

Wow Companion App. it’s been updated for the latest version. Also worked for Legion.

Well, personally I’d like to upgrade as my 390 isn’t quite cutting it as much these days, and I want to move up to a 1440p screen.

huh, interesting. Do they take a cut of the payout?

Really? I got about $2500 back after I t-boned a lady that turned in front of me (she was determined to be 100% at fault) on top of her insurance footing the bill for my repairs. (~8k in damage & labor)

Not bad. My dream dash really only needs a few things.

Well, say you’re paying your bills month to month and have little (if any) savings. Now you have 0 debt with the car, BUT, you also have 0 cash to go buy another, because you have no cash on hand for a down payment. GAP doesn’t give you money to buy a replacement. It gives you the cash to pay whatever remaining

AFAIK, GAP is there to keep you from being stuck with the loan, not being able to purchase a replacement. Basically it only has value if you are upside down in the loan. Say you owe 12k on a car, somehow it gets totaled, and it’s only valued at 8k. Without GAP, you’d be stuck shouldering the additional 4k yourself.

There’s really no point in doing it until their senior year of High School. Before then, you can’t get a CC, so it’s rather pointless. Most kids turn 18 about then though, so it’s the age they can start getting a CC and understanding how it works. It’s when I got my first card and I’m glad I did.

Ah, yeah. That can do it. I’ve restarted Tales of Abyss 3 times now because of this. I’ll start getting into it, then something else grabs my attention and I forget...and then I eventually come back and forget where I was or what was going on.

I mean, the getting lost and finding stuff is a big part of BotW. Open world games aren’t for everyone, though it did it very well IMO.

I bailed on The Last of Us about....an hour or so in? The first gunplay portion was horrendously awkward, and this continued into the first set of enemies you need to avoid (a bunch of...clickers I think they were called?). I wasn’t defeated by the difficulty. The controls were simply so awkward it sucked all my

Sure, but in this case I’m not sure it’s worth it. You’re paying an additional $10 on the cost of a standard pro controller and the game, for a branded controller and a metal case. Maybe if it came with more, but otherwise it seems like a ripoff.

I mean, if you say so. Dev’s have been doing this for...decades really. Frankly, I think you just want the argue about something. :)

That’s just a normal thing. The “faceless masses” if you will, are there to provide a sense of realism. However, most of the NPC’s you run by you won’t look at twice, and don’t interact with them in any real aspect. No sense in putting all the effort into customizing every NPC when no one will look at the work.

And that’s a perfectly justifiable reason. My parents didn’t let me play a lot of violent games as a kid either. Honestly, if I had kids, I’d be hesitant to let the play anything near the level of DS. Not just because it’s violent, but because it can be quite unforgiving and frustrating for a young child. Heck, I’ll

Eh DS3 isn’t particularly bad, though it is violent. Mostly just scary, and a child would have problems following what little story there is. Those ratings are guidelines and if you the parent are ok with it, then it doesn’t really matter. Now, they should not simply be dismissed out of hand, but it’s the parent judgem
