Well, issue #1 there would be that most mice and keyboards are USB these days. There are other methods as well. The university I worked at as a student used software called deep freeze (IIRC). It would revert the system to a preset state after a reboot, and logging off triggered a reboot. Downside was that you'd lose y

Well, say you’re paying your bills month to month and have little (if any) savings. Now you have 0 debt with the car, BUT, you also have 0 cash to go buy another, because you have no cash on hand for a down payment. GAP doesn’t give you money to buy a replacement. It gives you the cash to pay whatever remaining

AFAIK, GAP is there to keep you from being stuck with the loan, not being able to purchase a replacement. Basically it only has value if you are upside down in the loan. Say you owe 12k on a car, somehow it gets totaled, and it’s only valued at 8k. Without GAP, you’d be stuck shouldering the additional 4k yourself.

There’s really no point in doing it until their senior year of High School. Before then, you can’t get a CC, so it’s rather pointless. Most kids turn 18 about then though, so it’s the age they can start getting a CC and understanding how it works. It’s when I got my first card and I’m glad I did.

Ah, yeah. That can do it. I’ve restarted Tales of Abyss 3 times now because of this. I’ll start getting into it, then something else grabs my attention and I forget...and then I eventually come back and forget where I was or what was going on.

I mean, the getting lost and finding stuff is a big part of BotW. Open world games aren’t for everyone, though it did it very well IMO.

I bailed on The Last of Us about....an hour or so in? The first gunplay portion was horrendously awkward, and this continued into the first set of enemies you need to avoid (a bunch of...clickers I think they were called?). I wasn’t defeated by the difficulty. The controls were simply so awkward it sucked all my

Sure, but in this case I’m not sure it’s worth it. You’re paying an additional $10 on the cost of a standard pro controller and the game, for a branded controller and a metal case. Maybe if it came with more, but otherwise it seems like a ripoff.

I mean, if you say so. Dev’s have been doing this for...decades really. Frankly, I think you just want the argue about something. :)

That’s just a normal thing. The “faceless masses” if you will, are there to provide a sense of realism. However, most of the NPC’s you run by you won’t look at twice, and don’t interact with them in any real aspect. No sense in putting all the effort into customizing every NPC when no one will look at the work.

And that’s a perfectly justifiable reason. My parents didn’t let me play a lot of violent games as a kid either. Honestly, if I had kids, I’d be hesitant to let the play anything near the level of DS. Not just because it’s violent, but because it can be quite unforgiving and frustrating for a young child. Heck, I’ll

Eh DS3 isn’t particularly bad, though it is violent. Mostly just scary, and a child would have problems following what little story there is. Those ratings are guidelines and if you the parent are ok with it, then it doesn’t really matter. Now, they should not simply be dismissed out of hand, but it’s the parent judgem

Cables require a bit of prep, but IMO they’re probably the lowest stress option. Also, for quick mirroring, the Windows Key + P is probably the quickest way to configure the “projector” (TV) screen. Pressing it will give you a few options. Pressing P again while still holding the windows key will cycle through them.

Honestly, the only real blindspots the regular car has are the 2 A pillars (they’re thick) and seeing over 2 lanes towards the rear. Mirrors cover immediate left and right of the car easily. (I DD mine) If you’re turning around regularly to look at traffic, your mirrors are probably not set right. (this goes for most

As a long time player, it’s really a matter of being able to multitask in an encounter and still pull your weight. Typically it’s a do X mechanic so everyone stays alive, and still at least stay with the pack DPS/Healing wise. Severe under performers get kicked if they can’t pull their weight, extenuating

I was destroying horde at 115. Greenskins + a coupe of the traits that boost your pistol after BtE...well, I critted a pally for 38k. He didn’t last long. At 116, I got a lot more careful about who I picked fights with. Now at 120, I’m not bothered by most horde.

my bad, I misread his post. I was thinking between the 2080 and the 2080ti. There’s just not a ton of value to be had there to justify the markup. It does have the wider memory bus though I suppose. I’m torn on this one tbh. I’m still running a 390 and need to upgrade. However, the cards are expensive, and nVidia

Only if you paint it neon green and with some glow in the dark paint. Maybe add the nuke symbol for flavor. (or maybe just some neon green water?....Fill it with glow sticks  [don’t do this])

It does actually. As long as the buyer thinks they’re getting a deal, they’re more likely to buy. Personally, when making a big purchase I look up MSRP as go based on that. As for cars, I’m perfectly willing to pay MSRP, as long as I’m getting exactly what I want.

Looking at the specs on nVidia’s site, I’m honestly not seeing the value. ~100MHz core bump, and USB-C video out for VR. Otherwise the specs seemed identical at a glance.
