I don’t feel bad per se, but “The Last of Us”. I found the controls on the PS3 to be so godawful that I don’t think I made it more than about an hour into the game before I got ticked off, quit the game, and never played it again. I didn’t pay for it at least (a friend said he didn’t want it, and just gave it to me.

New games aside, do you not have auto-updates enabled? I haven’t had to sit through an update for anything in ages.

I do think it’s paranoid tbh, but my laptop is closed and on the dock 99% of the time. That said, you’d have to be dumb enough to fall for this scheme in the first place. (which at least 68 people were apparently) I suppose the most annoying part is that I have to peel this crap on my laptops I get back from users

Sweet, 110! Maybe the snowbirds will go home sooner (if they haven’t already). Seriously though, it’s almost June. This is when we start getting 100+ normally anyway, so nothing too weird here. We average over 100 all of June anyway. 110 is a little warmer than usual, but honestly once it starts getting that hot you

*shrug* Prove me wrong then. Show me a decent PC with all the basics for $500. IMO, you’re better off in the long run buying more than the bare minimum. Otherwise, it lends to the “always upgrading” stereotype

Fair enough, but at that point you’re basically using it as a console (no monitor = TV)....so why not get a console? When you start getting super cheap, many of the perks of a gaming pc kinda go away. 4gb of ram makes for a poor experience these days too. I suppose it would be find for indy and older games though.

I mean, sure if you just want marginally better than a console. At $500, you may as well buy off the shelf, buy a console, or buy used. (which I don’t advocate, as you’re likely buying someone else’s problem) You’re definitely not getting a decent SSD. You’d be getting a middling CPU, a minimal amount of RAM, a

As a PC gamer, I feel a compelling need to comment on this.

Came to post this too. +1 for you!

*cue whine*: But(t) the objectification!

Because this hasn’t been in video games forever or anything.

Salaries are rather low in AZ actually, so I doubt that. No, this is more of a “Shit, we fucked up. Burn it all and run boys!”

This just in: Players get what they ask for, whine about it incessantly! More news at 11!

Sure, but outside of Pepper Potts, it hasn’t really been made a big deal of that I’ve seen. (note, my memory is questionable at best at times) Frankly I don’t care either way, but what do you want? All the characters to stand up and say “I’m gay” or “I like XYZ” in the movie? Most people don’t do that in real life, at

Eh, at this point I’m not believing anything until Nintendo officially releases some info. Speculation like this happens every time around the release of a new one.

I don’t see why. All these things are sealed and bolted shut. Cylinders would be the only (minor) concern, and with how intakes are normally designed, it would be pretty impressive for any substantial amount of dust to make it in. I mean, I would have to make it past the filter first (which may have deteriorated) up

Well, if it’s been sitting here in AZ, only real concern would be lubrication and dirt. It doesn’t really rain much out here, so no real concerns regarding rust. As longs as it will crank, probably just needed to be cleaned up and some fresh plugs.

For me, it’s when it starts costing me another car payment monthly to keep the SoB running. I loved my 01 Camaro, got it used and had it for about 9 years. However, towards the end of that (2015) I was having to put work into it constantly, and it started to become a problem. Got it into decent enough shape and sold

Oh god, you sound like one of those people on HGTV. “I don’t care if this old house car needs a ton of work, it has character!”

Cute, yet scary in a way. Tbh, I wish the disclaimer was at the front of the video though
