Sure, but you do it. I’m stuck behind people in all kinds of sports cars, and I’m lucky if they hit 50 before we’re at the bottom of the ramp. I can easily hit 85+ if there’s no one in front of me (Though I usually get on about 70, because left lane traffic and what not)

I had a guy pacing me for cop bait one night. No matter how fast or slow I drove, he was always in my “blind spot” (I don’t really have one) which meant his lighters were constantly in my mirror. Got to a point I know the cops sit but weren’t at, and hit the brakes pretty hard (didn’t squeal them or anything), watched

I’ve almost T-boned 3 or 4 people because of this. There is a gas station at a light near work, and morons insist on making left hand turns out of this place. I usually make a left at the light to go down the intersecting road to go home. Add to that traffic backs up well past the station, so I can’t always see when

What’s this “Let’s” nonesense. I walked uphill both ways delivering widgets in all the weathers for 30 years for buy this island. Get your own place. Damn kids, no respect.

So, going to be “that guy”. I draw the line at “regularly”. This of course, depends on the person but generally speaking if you don’t use it consistently, why waste the money on a truck? It’s costing you more in gas (and maybe loan) then a car would for day-to-day use.

All my tires have either had sidewall blowouts, or holes to big to patch unfortunately. I have had road hazard warranty on the few recent ones at least, so it’s not been as bad, but it sure is annoying.

With the amount of debris I hit somehow (and am hit by. 2 windshields in 2 years) I’ve only had 1 set of tires make it entirely to retirement. I’ve since replaced them, and then picked up a u-bolt about 1 year into the new tires.

Ah, fair enough. I can see how that would be handy. Not sure how big your patterns are or frequently you do this, but have you ever considered buying a plotter printer? A bit more expensive for a basic one, but they’ll let you print large documents (like, cad drawings or posters and whatnot) on a single sheet.

Short of legal / flyer reasons, I’ve never used 11x17. I’m sure they offer one at a higher price point though. However, it looks like it can only handle up to 8.5x14, so I suppose this one would be out if you needed that. Your average user (even an office user) doesn’t need 11x17 though.

Actually they make up to a 750.

That’s what I did. I got 0% for 6 years. I don’t plan on trading the car in any time soon, so the lower payment was more appealing to me.

Depends on needs. Buying new (generally) guarantees me a reliable vehicle that should only need basic maintenance to keep it on the road. When I bought my current car, I was commuting ~75 miles a day, and I didn’t want to inherit someones problems. Also, I like new things once in a while. :). Now that said, I bought a

Most Mobo’s have the 4pin PWM connectors by default these days. “Gaming” boards tend to have ton of them. I think my current system has like....6 or 7 headers, but it’s brand new.

Overall I actually don’t mind it. If I have any gripe, it’s the DRL’s. I still prefer my 5th gen RS’s cat eye look.

PSU, but not for the quality reasons most people will state. Of couse you should by a good one, but for me it’s spending the little extra to get a modular PSU. You only plug in what you need and have no extra stuff you have you need to gather and tie at then end. I won’t build another system without one.

Multiple drives are doing it? Definately check for BIOS updates. I’d recommend doing it with just the main drive installed as it seems to be affecting your boots with others installed, and you don’t want to interrupt a BIOS update by accident. I read your post as saying the 1 drive is causing issues, and that it’s old.

I have long given up trying to convince victims to replace Windows with ..., and I look for a windows license key. If I am lucky, there was a Windows 7 on the dead drive, and it has a license key. With that, I can use an OEM disk to re-install the OS on a replacement disk, and use the license key to pass Windows

Gut feeling is that your drive’s controller is on the way out. Hang on boot means the BIOS/POST is having issues identifying the device. As a precaution, you might look into BIOS updates. Sometimes they address incompatibility with specific hardware (rare, but it does happen). To be completely honest though, I’d pick

Well, that’s pretty normal. Really though, if you’re going to try and run off one drive, you need to start curating data, or keep moving data off. I have a 1TB SSD, and brought my old raid over from the old PC, so 3TB of storage. Games will still fill up the SSD, so I’ll have to put some things on that other drive

SSD’s are magnitudes faster than traditional HDD’s. Most common (read: cheap) setup is a small boot drive, and a large HDD for storing data. Regardless, We’re talking minutes to seconds here. If you don’t already have one, an SSD is hands down the single best upgrade you can do to your PC (as long as it’s new enough
