No, having driven my (now ex) wife’s 2016 Miata, the shift points come up pretty quick. 6th gear comes pretty quick, but it’s still pretty quick in 6th.
Unless there was injury or some other trauma, he doesn’t have much of a case. Also, depends on the state laws.
No hybrid system, but they do make it with a Hemi if you get the 300C.
Eh, keyboarding is a stretch. A lot of people use their phones, but for anything long and thought out, the phone interface is a massive PITA. I suppose I could see like...a thumb KB, but not really practical. Also the fact that a KB and mouse is used as the primary control scheme for almost all computers. Now, PROPER…
Hah, I remember healers ragging the crap out of people for that. We usually kicked those people.
Have played WoW for a long time, rarely did I blame the healers, unless they were playing like garbage. (standing in bad, not dispelling what they need to, or otherwise being generally bad)
Dangit, now I have Naga laughing stuck in my head.
TBH, given the number of jay walkers we have out here, I wasn’t terribly surprised by the incident. I had a feeling this was going to happen as soon as they announced they would be testing here.
In that case, screw them.
When I bought my current car, I shopped around for dealers and ended up ordering what I wanted because no one had what I wanted on the lot. Took me a while to find a dealer that wouldn’t jerk me around.
Eh, If you really want it, finance it, make sure there are no penalties for paying it off early, and pay it off in a payment or two. Worst case they make a few bucks off you.
Right, but you’re talking about a reverse engineered piece of tech, that was tweaked a bit to cheat and let you play on the screen too. They likely cheated a bit somewhere. Applying power to the wrong pins when you’ve got something special can cause weird things to happen.
Very true. Unfortunately, a lot of people have been playing this as the “Nintendo bricked mah sweetch!” even though it’s not their product, thus not their fault. Thus, offering to repair it if it’s still under warranty is a nice gesture, even though they are not compelled to do so.
Whenever power is involved, all bets are off.
Helps salvage PR for something that isn’t really their fault, but yeah.
That would be pretty cool, and honestly not that hard to do with a little time and some programming skills.
If it’s similar to a tales game (on normal difficulty) you should be able to handle most of the game without too much trouble. Now, Tales games have some crazy difficulty levels if you want, but I haven’t seen anything that indicates this does.
In the last few years I’ve noticed a significant up-tick in the number of jaywalkers around the Phoenix area in general. As soon as I heard Uber was going to be testing these vehicles out here I figured it would only be a matter of time until this happened.
I’m not saying the use isn’t there. SSD’s were super low adoption when they came out for the same reason. They were wildly expensive. However, they were magnitudes faster than traditional HDD. This is not however, so the case is harder to make for it. Most likely, this tech will eventually supplant SSD’s. It’s still…
