All I see is cracks, possibly from where they widened the road. There are no marked lane lines. It’s 1 lane.

Uh, no. That’s not how this works, as much as you’d like to believe it does.
As far as I can see, it’s one wide lane past the yield sign. Therefore the cop was doing what he should, which was wait for an opening. The first valid opening comes just after the guy cuts the shoulder.
I see the end of the merge lane. Past that there are no marks on the road to indicate the road continues to be 2 lanes.
True, but there are no lane lines. Technically once you pass the end of the line marking the end of the merging lane, it’s all one lane. That “side” lane isn’t actually a lane, just a wide road.
Of course. I watched the video a few times though, and the only opening I see is just after the guy passes the cop. Any other time would have made you in the wrong, and an ass.
It’s one of those funky if/but situations.
I see what is either a seam in the road from when they added the turn lane, or the track left by the car 2 cars ahead (hard to tell in rain) but having watched it 5 times, I see no lane lines aside from the far left yellow one, and the one indicating the start of the turn lane.
If you are the one yielding, and you have to force the traffic that you are yielding to yield, you’re doing it wrong.
There are no lane lines, so the road is 1 lane wide (though widening for the upcoming turn lane there). He was doing what he was supposed to.
it’s a forced merge, what does he need to signal for? (aside from being polite) Per yield, he needs to wait for an opening to enter safely. If you’re forcing people to slow down / adjust for you, and you’re at the yield, you’re doing it wrong. There are no lane lines between him and the right hand turn up ahead, so…
I see no lane lines, so it appears to be a straight merge. Cop was doing what he should have, which is wait for an opening.
Yeah, it’s not hard at all, just tedious. A lot of people are afraid to even look under the hood of their cars. To much of the “everything is electronic” attitude these days. The basics of cars haven’t really changed much over the years, and basic maintenance is still the same as always.
Brakes specifically. I’m fine with other stuff (belts, hoses, oil, etc). Just not brakes.
True on the bleeding. For me, 2 hours is best spent doing other things. It’s not that I don’t enjoy working on my car, but some things that take a lot of time and may render my only car inoperable / unsafe to drive if I cock it up I prefer to leave to the shop. I have no issues doing things like oil changes, belts,…
A breaker bar, socket, and 5-15 minutes is unrealistic? Sorry, don’t buy it. As for headlights, I assume means the bulbs....
I know how to do them and still adamantly refuse to do so as it’s a massive waste of time. I consider my time more valuable than the time and parts cost it will take me to go wheel to wheel changing each pad myself and bleed the system.
Exploding bunny eh.... Didn’t watch the trailer with sound (yet), but anyone else get this vibe?
TBH, this looks just as boring as the Audi to me. generally speaking, it looks like any other sedan on the road in the last 10 years or so. LED “trim” around the headlights? check. Chrome trim around the windows? check. No real lines to speak of? check.
At least looking at this case, the font is...well, too smooth is the best way I can think to put it. It seems to be a higher rez than the rest of the game, so it’s jarring and a tad distracting to me at least. I get why they’d want to “clean it up” but it just doesn’t look right.
