I have a lawyer friend. He’s a blast.

In the same way the BWM owner gets the “Look at my overpriced car, I’m so much better than you” attitude, Prius drivers get the “I’m saving the environment so get with my way of diving or else” attitude.

Ugh, Prius drivers. Worst one almost forced me to rear-end him on purpose. To preface this, freeway on ramps here are 2 lanes until you get near the HW, then they zipper to one. You have a little less than a quarter mile of 2 lanes.

I haven’t really met any assholes driving Camaros, and I’m pretty comfortable stating that I’m not one. I think it’s more of a regional thing? (unlike those who drive BMW’s). Honestly, most of the jerk drivers I see around me drive either a BMW, a Mustang, or a Prius.

Or someone was listening to MJ

nVidia did similar not to long ago. Driver update cooked a bunch of cards

Yeah. Not quite as good single threaded, but I do use my PC for video encoding (I rip my DVD/Blu-rays for my media center) so it would be nice to have the extra cores.

I’m torn on this one. Mostly because AMD cards simply have not kept up. But, I’ve found that they have more...longevity. Next system might run nVidia, even though I despise them deeply, simply because they perform the best.

As someone who DD’s a V6 Camaro, I don’t feel I settled at all. I could afford a loaded 6 or stripped 8. Since it’s my DD, comfort won out over power. Still a manual though. I enjoy driving every day.

I’m on year 8 with my i7-950. Was hoping to upgrade soon but looks like that’s a no go. (I might have overbuilt this thing to hell and back...)

As someone who works IT for a business, we have a different perspective on these things. Assuming business is good, 1k is a drop in the bucket when you’re talking millions of dollars. As long as the higher ups don’t say no, we’re pretty much cool getting you what you want. Also, many businesses operate on a refresh

Still rocking a 390, and it works fine for 1080p gaming, but I’d love to pick up a second on the cheap, haha. Anything newer though is just crazy right now (frankly the 390's are still way overpriced as well)

Sucks too. I was hoping to build a new rig to upgrade my ancient 950 nehalem rig. (First gen i7) it’s been a solid PC, but after 8 years and a few GPU upgrades it’s starting to show it’s age. As it stands, think I’ll just pick up a SSD and a sound card to breath some life into it. Might go for a threadripper cpu once

Yeah, I hear you on that. I’ve never understood the infatuation with watching people do things I could be doing myself (a la streamers). I’ve already decided that if/when I have kids, they will not have smart phones until they can buy them themselves if I can help it. Until I was an adult, my parents constantly nagged

I’ve never considered driving stressful on the whole, but I also didn’t get my license until I was 18. I didn’t need to drive anywhere when I was 16, parents would let me get a job, and a bike was able to get me where I needed 90% of the time.

Not sure. At work so no audio. That said, if he can rig up the engine, a small ejection charge at the end. Of course, the model rocket engines you can buy are also fairly powerful, depending on the size of course.

Well, around me just for a house it’s ~$30k to get solar panels installed (which is a ripoff IMO). Adding 15% to that makes it 34.5k, which makes them even less attractive.

Should be simple enough. They’ve already got a tube, and most model rocket engines have a charge at the end to eject the parachute. Just a little wadding and a decent enough chute should be fine. That said, need a way to drop the chute once you land or it’ll just be in the way.

Usually it’s bundled with something else and it just never grabbed my attention, or I was enjoying the first game, bought the second, and then never finished the first for whatever reason.

Too much hot hatch. At least 4 (5? not sure on the GTC VXR). They all look nice, but they can’t be half your lineup here.
