As someone who DD’s a V6 Camaro, I don’t feel I settled at all. I could afford a loaded 6 or stripped 8. Since it’s my DD, comfort won out over power. Still a manual though. I enjoy driving every day.

I’m on year 8 with my i7-950. Was hoping to upgrade soon but looks like that’s a no go. (I might have overbuilt this thing to hell and back...)
As someone who works IT for a business, we have a different perspective on these things. Assuming business is good, 1k is a drop in the bucket when you’re talking millions of dollars. As long as the higher ups don’t say no, we’re pretty much cool getting you what you want. Also, many businesses operate on a refresh…
Still rocking a 390, and it works fine for 1080p gaming, but I’d love to pick up a second on the cheap, haha. Anything newer though is just crazy right now (frankly the 390's are still way overpriced as well)
Sucks too. I was hoping to build a new rig to upgrade my ancient 950 nehalem rig. (First gen i7) it’s been a solid PC, but after 8 years and a few GPU upgrades it’s starting to show it’s age. As it stands, think I’ll just pick up a SSD and a sound card to breath some life into it. Might go for a threadripper cpu once…
Usually it’s bundled with something else and it just never grabbed my attention, or I was enjoying the first game, bought the second, and then never finished the first for whatever reason.
Too much hot hatch. At least 4 (5? not sure on the GTC VXR). They all look nice, but they can’t be half your lineup here.
The fact that they’re (mostly) just expensive Toyota’s is what stops me from buying a Lexus....
Don’t forget skeletons and zombies! Nothing like DR against weapon types on super low CR creatures (ok it’s not really an issue since 5e, but still)
I do not miss those voices. At a few points I was fighting so many of them my sound started glitching out because they were all yelling and clipping over each other. If you got 4 or 5 at once it was super annoying.
IIRC, the big shit talk was regarding their aluminum beds. Chevy’s beds are still steel.
I’m not denying that it’s a nice feature, and in fact the XB1 does it well. It’s not that nobody cares about it, but rather that most don’t. There’s also a point at which it becomes unfeasible to carry forward.
Last time I was forced to check my carry-on with...Delta I think it was (been a few years) I had to go to baggage claim.
Same reason that on a lot of vehicles, you have to get the nav system to get the upgraded speakers / radio. No one really wants the navigation, but bundle it with other crap people DO want and they’ll buy it.
Yup. Between the assholes that drive them, the cost of the vehicles them selves, and the pettiness of this, I’m right there with you.
While not my style, I can certainly appreciate the work that goes into these things. Nice car, and screw that guy.
Yup, I’ve heard that a few times. I have a 2015 v6 and I love it. I like to call it my fun commuter as it’s my DD, but I can get on it when I want to with no worries.
Depends? For me the garage is a place for cars, not junk. Work shop idea isn’t bad either if you only have 1 car though I suppose
Wouldn’t want to get it dirty or anything.
Old enough to not be confounded by CD players? haha. I have yet to find a CD player where you would put the CD in label down. Maybe sideways if you have a vertical one, but again, rare in cars. In that context, the label is stupid to me but you’re probably right. I weep for humanity.
