Thank you! That cleared that up quite a bit. You're absolutely right about J. Stewart's ability to interview celebrities.

I swear I must be the grandest idiot—I somehow missed she was Natalie. You have officially blasted my mind.
Heh. I was here just to post "It's a secret that he's a "notorious womanizer"? Since when?"
I knew this had to be the Alamo Drafthouse. They are the best.
I like you very much indeed.
I doubt that anyone will read this far—maybe not even you, Foxy—but I've watched this thread today with a mix of trepidation and awe.
I think sometimes people need to concentrate on what works and put aside moralistic convictions about the inner motivations and judgements of others. Simply put: is the strength of a movement added to or detracted from when certain people in the movement attack others involved for an inability to display unvarnished…
The quality or content of the film is not the issue here, and completely unimportant.
"It is possible that men are probably more affected by their own roles and image as partners, than by the actual feelings of their partner," said Professor Frijters.
When I saw Gone Girl, the 50 Shades trailer was shown and the audience laughed out loud at it. It was wonderful. I really hope the RiffTrax guys are able to do a live screening of it.

I liked the movie, but... man is it depressing. I feel like it's one of those films where most people really didn't grok how depressing it really is (like Fight Club, where everyone turns into what they claim to hate). Lots of those subversive 90s movies are like that, really— party/crazy images, but really sad…
Well said.
I do not begrudge you your resentment.
Michael Vick served his time and moved on with his life and professional career. That doesn't mean I stop thinking of him as dog killing, sick fuck.
I had heard that the owners encouraged the Angels to date celebrities because of the extra publicity it provided
I watched part of the interview. I really never thought Bush was a bad guy- a bad president, but I think he was always well intentioned. He just should have done something other than go into politics.
I like that song too, but I never heard this version! Her music is definitely a guilty pleasure of mine.
